4/20 was celebrated on the SiIvaGunner channel as a channel event in 2024.

Summary[]

All rips uploaded during the event were of sources or featured jokes related to MLG montages, including:

  • Rips of games associated with MLG montages, most notably the Call of Duty series.
  • Rips featuring songs by or featuring Snoop Dogg, such as "The Next Episode" and "Drop It Like It's Hot".
  • Rips featuring songs by Skrillex, such as "Kyoto", "Bangarang", and the Skrillex & Nero remix of "Holdin On" by I SEE MONSTAS.
  • Rips of games or featuring songs related to Shrek, such as "All Star".
  • Rips featuring edits with airhorns.
  • Rips featuring "Only Time" by Enya.

The catchphrase was changed to "4 moar in5mation, plz GET NOSCOPED by tha channel de$$$cription, m7".

During the event, the avatar was changed to feature the following common MLG montage jokes:

  • A rainbow colored background
  • A SWAG hat

Initially, rips were uploaded at hourly intervals (with the exception of "Made a Word! (POT) - LeapFrog Word Whammer Fridge Phonics Set"). It was later shortened to 30 minute intervals, then to 15 minutes. Additionally, during the event, the featured video of the channel for returning subscribers was set to "We Are Number One - LazyTown: The Video Game", then to "Fallen Down - Undertale", while the channel trailer was set to "SNOOPER MARIO WORLD - MLG Flappy Bird 420".

On 4:20 AM PST, a community post[1], as well as a tweet by @GiIvaSunner[2], were made, showing The Joke-Explainer™ 7000 on a rainbow background with changed color scheme to resemble cannabis, wearing 8-Bit sunglasses from the "Thug Life" meme, a hitmarker bow, and offering a blunt with a meme caption "WANNA RIP?".
