"All Star" is an alternate-rock single by the band Smash Mouth featured in their second album, Astro Lounge. It is a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.

Overview

The song was first used in the 1999 action film Mystery Men and was later popularized in the 2001 animation film Shrek.

Due to the popularity of Shrek memes in the early 2010s, "All Star" was a popular source to use in mashups. A subreddit dedicated to "All Star" mashups, /r/smashups, was created in 2014. After a while, "All Star" became more of a meme in its own right somewhat disconnected from Shrek.

"All Star" is often used on SiIvaGunner in mashup and medley rips, such as "Remix 10 - Rhythm Heaven Fever" and sometimes in single rips such as "Main Theme - Shrek".

Due to its high use, the SiIvaGunner team had previously banned "All Star" mashups from fan submitted rips. However, as of The Haltmann Works Co. Training Video, it's not banned anymore.

The song's twentieth anniversary was also celebrated with a channel event in 2019.
