April Fools' Day 2020 was celebrated with a channel event on April 1, 2020.

Summary[]

On March 31, SiIvaGunner announced SiIva Direct Mini Quarantine 2020, which was set to premiere on April 1 at 4 PM PT/7 PM ET.

On April 1, almost all uploads, were based on various games and apps from other April Fools' pranks of companies and people (such as Google Maps (NES) from Google's 2012 "Google Maps 8-bit for NES" prank, Waddle Dee: Star Allies from the Kirby 25th Anniversary website's 2018 Waddle Dee takeover, or Duolingo Push from Duolingo's 2019 prank).

The announced Direct was immediately preceded by the King for Another Day Tournament-themed rip "What's This!? (Beta Mix) - SilvaGunner: King for Another Day". However, the direct itself turned out to be an April Fools' joke; while it imitated the format of the three actual Directs, the actual content consisted of a joke "reveal" of Cloud Strife and a version of Adam Levine's reveal trailer that was edited to end with an extremely slow zoom in on the frame used in his tier list image, stretching out the direct to a perfect 7 minutes. The Direct was followed by the Cloud Strife "arrangements" "Let the Battles Begin!", "Fight On!", and "Victory! Cloud Strife", which were just unedited uploads of Final Fantasy VII songs.

The event ended on April 2 with "Final Destination ~ Super Smash Bros. Universe", the real GilvaSunner's April Fools' Day joke from 2012.
