Bob Dylan (born Robert Allen Zimmerman, May 24, 1941) is an American poetic songwriter and singer mainly known for his songs "Blowin' in the Wind", "The Times They Are a-Changin" and "Like a Rolling Stone", among others. His lyrics are often influenced by politics, such as the Civil Rights Movement. Dylan has been making music since the 1960s and continues to tour. He is considered to be one of the greatest songwriters of all time, and won a Nobel Prize in literature in 2016.
