"Burning Desires" is a song composed by Yang Wutao with vocals by MES, released alongside a character demo video for Burnice White on October 18, 2024. The song was received negatively, with many people comparing the song to "Thick Of It", which had been released earlier that month. Various edits of the song have been made, including in-character covers by other gacha game voice actors, as well as mashups. "Gangnam Style", which has the same key and a similar tempo, has been featured in several mashups with the song.
Rips[]
The song first appeared on the channel in the rip "A Fiery Finale - Dance of Tahu - BIONICLE: The Legend of Mata Nui". After that, it would make two more appearances throughout Christmas 2024, including a rip of it, "Burning Desires - Zenless Zone Zero". The majority of its rips are mashups. A handful of "Burning Desires" rips include references to "Thick Of It".
The largest usage period of the track overlapped Season Mine. This was reflected in the event's lore via Stingy claiming the song as his on February 16, 2025, alongside the release of the rip "BIG SHOT (OST Version) - Deltarune". A minor event dedicated to Burnice White's Birthday also occurred on May 23, 2025, where "Burning Desires" was featured in almost all the rips uploaded for it.
As a reference to the pairing between "Burning Desires" and "Thick Of It", the Burnice vs. KSI event would occur on July 4, 2025, where rips featuring the two songs were uploaded interchangeably.
