Among Us is an online multiplayer social deduction game developed and published by American game studio Innersloth.
Overview[]
Among Us uses the gameplay formula of the folk game Mafia with some added mechanics and a sci-fi setting. The game released quietly on Steam and mobile devices in 2018, but received a massive spike in popularity in 2020 after the success of Innersloth's other game The Henry Stickmin Collection.
Though the game's soundtrack consists mostly of ambiance and short jingles, its popularity has led to fan-made songs relating to the game, most notably "Among Us Trap Remix" by Leonz, which is based on the game's "Dead Body Reported" jingle.
Channel event[]
The mysterious Amogus Day event is a reference to ironic memes surrounding the game since 2021.
On February 21, 2021, 13 private videos were added to the playlist. Since then, the playlist gets randomly updated with unknown videos. It is not yet known what the videos are.
