SCCC 03-07

Characters who appear notably in SiIvaGunner's uploads and lore.

Note that the information in this page mainly pertains to the main universe (the one in which the events SilvaGunner: Rebooted and The SilvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis took place).

Figments[]

"A Figment is an idea, like a figment of the human imagination. Figments possess extraordinary powers far beyond humans, but they cannot exist outside of our imagination."
The Voice Inside Your Head

According to the Voice in the Christmas Comeback Crisis episode "Old Times", figments are a type of being in the CCC universe. Figments are the personification of a human's imagination, and humans can make as many figments as they desire; humans can even live on as figments after they die. Figments, however, reside in "the digital realm" where they can do whatever they want and instantly revive themselves upon death. In "Prologue", the Voice used a Figment Transport Device to transport several of SiIvaGunner's figments into "the real world", i.e. the setting of the CCC. This implies that all fictional characters who appear in the CCC are SiIvaGunner's figments who were transported there by the Voice, further evidenced by almost all of them coming from channel memes up to that point:

"Christmas in July" HH Side Story: "I Wanna Thank Me"
Doki Doki Literature Club! Monika Side Story: "I Wanna Thank Me"

However, there is ambiguity as to what memes certain CCC characters are meant to represent, as a few of them are not associated with any sources widely used in rips.

Figment Origin First appearance in the CCC
Meta Knight Kirby series "Prologue"
Parappa PaRappa the Rapper Episode 7: "Loves the Ladies"
Side Story: "Bad Moon Rising" (earlier in-universe)
Waluigi Mario series "Last Hurrah"
El Bean Based on Green de la Bean "Last Hurrah"
Rush Mega Man series FILE-05: "The Werewolf"
Dr. Andonuts EarthBound FILE-11: "The Joke-Explainer™ 7000"

The Grinch Grinch Takeover FILE-15: "Channel Hosts and Takeovers"
Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated Takeover FILE-15: "Channel Hosts and Takeovers"

In "Last Hurrah", there are several oddities, such as:

  • Waluigi being unaware of the Voice's mechanization of Grandiose City (or who the Voice even is)
  • Waluigi and Mr Rent mentioning Mr Own as Mr Rent's cousin, who then appears in a cutaway gag
  • The existence of Mr Rent and El Bean, completely original characters that appear to be figments

In the CCC Side Story "Wood Man & Robbie Rotten", it is mentioned that "future figments from the 'real real world' have been transported to ours through time rifts". The full scope of this is unclear, but it seems to justify the appearance of Season 2 memes in "I Wanna Thank Me".

Humans[]

"Old Times" also delineates humans as a separate type of character from figments. Although presented as being in the "real world", human characters still only appear in the CCC to represent channel memes, and as such they are fictionalized to be based more around their associated meme(s). In the case of Snoop Dogg, Angry Joe, and JustinRPG, these memes simply encompass references to the person or their body of work. However, other humans who appear in the CCC, like Chip tha Ripper, Soulja Boy, or Charles Barkley, only represent a single source, as the rest of their works have not seen widespread use in the channel's rips, so they tend to be more one-note.

SiIvaGunner, Loud Nigra, Chad Warden, The Voice Inside Your Head, and Santa Claus are exceptions to the rule, being fictional characters who are not considered figments. The first four appeared during SiIvaGunner: Rebooted, which takes place in the "real world" prior to the CCC, meaning they are not figments; on the other hand, Santa, a character debuting in the CCC, was explicitly mentioned to not be a figment in the episode "One Last Chance".

The video "Christmas Spirit [FILE-07] - Haltmann's Archives" also refers to events in the South Park episode "Red Sleigh Down" as actual events taking place in 2002. The implications of this are unclear.

Secondary universe[]

Main article: Category:Characters from King for a Day tournaments

In "Garlic-Flavored Tacos [FILE-16] - Haltmann's Archives", Haltmann Works R&D doubts that the characters in the secondary universe could be considered figments. Although it is left unclear, the inclusion of this detail implies that they aren't. However, in "The SiIvaGunner Spooktacular Halloween Horror Special Part III: Episode 3", John Notwoodman refers to Princess Heavy, Takane Shijou, The Joke-Explainer™ 7000, Unregistered HyperCam 2, The Minion, and Wolfgirl as 'those meddling C-list memes', which appears to indicate that he is aware that the characters represent trends on the channel. The implications of this are unclear.

The major characters who appear in King for a Day are unique in that rather than appearing to personify a particular idea, the ideas are built around the character to create their sourcelist.
