The game, loosely based on the Rick and Morty episode "Close Rick-counters of the Rick Kind", serves as a Rick and Morty-themed parody of the Pokémon series. The game's soundtrack is made up of instrumentals of songs from the show, with some being original covers.
On the SiIvaGunner channel, this is a joke game; rips use the original versions of the tracks from Rick and Morty, rather than the game's arrangements. The main exception being "Human Muzak", an arrangement of "Human Music".
