Sonic the Hedgehog CD, commonly called Sonic CD, is a video game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega on Sega CD/Mega-CD in 1993.

The game's composers are Naofumi Hataya and Masafumi Ogata for the Japanese and European soundtrack and Spencer Nilsen, David Young and Mark Crew for the American soundtrack.

The game also received multiple ports and remakes over the years, including an iOS/Android remake, developed by Christian "Taxman" Whitehead, in 2011.
