Sonic Free Riders is a motion controlled racing video game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega exclusively for the Xbox 360. The game requires the use of Microsoft's Kinect peripheral and was a Kinect launch title in November 2010. It is a spinoff to the Sonic the Hedgehog series, and serves as the third entry in the Sonic Riders sub-series, as a direct sequel to Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. The game was met with negative reviews, with many of them saying that the game had unresponsive controls.
