Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles is a game created by combining separate releases Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles.

The two games were developed and published by Sega on Sega Genesis/Sega Mega Drive in 1994, with "lock-on technology" being used to combine them into a single game, although they could be played separately.

The game was also released on Windows in 1997 as Sonic & Knuckles Collection.

Michael Jackson joke[]

A running gag on the channel is that every rip from this game credits Michael Jackson as the composer in the description, likely making fun of the misconception that he did the entire soundtrack. While he and a large team are known to have taken part in composing this game's music, it is not known who composed which songs for the most part.

The running gag would begin sometime around April 2016, around the release of the rip "SK Credits - Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles". Earlier rips would either credit people who were known to have composed those tracks or none at all.

This gag is inverted in rips of Michael Jackson's Moonwalker, which have the description credit every composer for Sonic 3 & Knuckles except for Michael Jackson.

Several rips also have variants of this joke:
