Super Smash Flash 2 is a fanmade fighting game based on the Super Smash Bros. franchise, developed in Adobe Flash. It is the sequel to Super Smash Flash. The game features new characters, music, and content. The game features 13 different composers for the game.
Overview[]
Much like the game franchise it is based on, Super Smash Flash 2 features characters from various Nintendo properties, with some characters from third-party properties. The game features high-speed gameplay inspired by Super Smash Bros. Melee, with the art style and presentation inspired by Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Unlike the original Super Smash Bros. entries, however, Super Smash Flash 2 also features several characters from anime, such as Goku, Luffy, Naruto, and Ichigo, as well as the joke character Sandbag.
A public demo for the game, Version 0.1a, was released on December 25, 2007, and the first beta version was released on May 29, 2017. The soundtrack consists of remixes and arrangements of music from the various media properties represented in game. Despite the discontinuation of Adobe Flash in 2020, the game was remade as a downloadable game instead of being browser-based, and development is still ongoing.
