Touhou 16: the Return of Haunted Spirit is a shoot 'em up video game developed and planned to be published by Team Shanghai Alice for the PC. It is the sixteenth game in the Touhou Project series. The game's composer is ZUN.
This is actually a fake game made to post a single rip, and should not be confused with the actual Touhou 16: Hidden Star in Four Seasons which came out over a year later.

ZUN was aiming to give the Return of Haunted Spirit a "nostalgic blow" by bringing back elements from the PC-98 era of the Project, especially the first entry. The name "Return of Haunted Spirit" directly referred to the return of Mima, a vengeful spirit who has been absent since PC-98. The game was originally announced on ZUN's personal blog on October 31, 2016. The demo was soon released a week after that. The full game was never publicly released; the reason for this is unknown.
