"Chemical Plant Zone (Nick Arcade Prototype) - Sonic the Hedgehog 2" is a high quality rip of the Nick Arcade prototype version of "Chemical Plant Zone" from Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
Jokes[]
This rip is part of a series of fakeout rips that start out the same as existing BotanicSage mashups before veering off into different directions, and which list BotanicSage as a composer.
This rip starts out recreating the YouTube upload of "16BIT Magic", a mashup of "Chemical Plant Zone" with "24K Magic" by Bruno Mars and the rip initially fading in on the "Chemical Plant Zone" background used in the YouTube upload. At 0:25, Chuck E. Cheese pops up instead of Sonic and "24K Magic" is switched out with the similar-sounding Chuck E. Cheese song "Me & My Friends". From 0:30 on, the visual switches entirely to the "Me & My Friends" video.
At 2:22, "Aozora no Rhapsody" from Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid is added to the mashup, referencing Triple-Q's mashup "24K Dragon Magic". At the same time, gifs of Kanna Kamui from Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid and Sonic run past as the background visuals switch to a video of Chaze the Chat and friends at Chuck E. Cheese. The visuals fade out at 3:02.
In addition, the abnormal catchphrase is a reference to the last line of "Me and My Friends".

Trivia[]
- SiIvaGunner hearted a comment by Muno reading "Play this song at 1.00 for Chuck E. Quality, 1.25 for Sonic Quality".[1] This references a similar comment on "16BIT Magic" reading "Play this song at 1.00 for Bruno Quality, 1.25 for Sonic Quality" that was hearted by BotanicSage.[2]
- This rip was reuploaded to SiIvaGunner2 on January 9, 2019 as an unlisted video. It was possibly supposed to be one of the GiIvaSunner Third Anniversary reuploads, but went unpublicized. Oddly, the SiIvaGunner2 channel lacks a Sonic the Hedgehog 2 playlist.
- A day after the rip was posted, Chaze the Chat would upload "Me & My Friends" that features the visuals used at the end and the audio consisting of an extremely crushed version of the rip, to match the quality of the visuals.
