Crazy Frog is a computer-animated character created in 2003. Rising to popularity after a remix of the song "Axel F" by Harold Faltermeyer. It is also a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.
Overview[]
In 2003, a graphic designer Erik Wernquist, created the character in question, and then animated it, with Daniel Malmedahl voicing Crazy Frog. The short movie was titled The Annoying Thing.
In 2004, Jamba!, a company selling ringtones for mobile phones, used Malmedahl's voice as a ringtone, and based off of that, a remix of "Axel F", theme for the 1984 film Beverly Hills Cop, with the aforementioned audio was made, and the official music video features the character.
