"Discord" (also known as "Discord (The Original!)" and "Discord (EuroChaos Mix)") is a My Little Pony fan song by Eurobeat Brony ft. Odyssey. It is a minor meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.
Summary[]
"Discord" is a fan song composed by Jessa Stebbins (under the aliases as Eurobeat Brony) and Odyssey, and released for the album Super Ponybeat Vol. 2 on August 7, 2011 for Bandcamp. The track is a theme song around the villain of the same name from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, confirmation by the composer that this was due to the character not having a theme song in the 2nd season of the show. The track was also made reflecting his characteristic and sense of humor on the show.[1]
By the Eurobeat-style in the composer's words, it had a lot to do with the theme of the late Time Pieces, as it borrows the track "Speed Man" by Dave Simon, as well as jumping between other genres in light of the character's distance for consistency.[1] In the same album also features a Acapella and Instrumental version of the track. While the track would be popular within the Brony community, it would received a remixed version by The Living Tombstone on January 21, 2012.
Since the remix was released, it was received a major popularity on the community, as well for the original track, and receiving varies remixes and covers of the both versions by others YouTubers and composers. One of which was "Discord (SCP Friendly Remix)", a remix track by SCP Music in collaboration within the original composer, Odyssey. The original track would receivied a 2015 version on December 11, 2012 for the album Super Ponybeat Vol. 3, and a 2019 version on August 8, 2019 as a single. Follow by a official album called as Discord Collection on November 9, 2019, that includes all versions of "Discord".
