Dr. Robotnik is the main villain of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a competitor in the King for Another Day Tournament, where he was based off his incarnation from the show the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. He was selected as a popular fan submission.

King for Another Day Tournament

Snooping as usual, Dr. Robotnik invades the tournament! With his hands on that crown, Robotnik may finally be able to fulfill his dream of ruling Mobius, and capture that heinous hedgehog he hates so much… or at least he thinks. However, if he truly wants a chance to be king, he will have to give himself a promotion!

Dr. Robotnik was revealed at the end of the SiIva Direct 4.1.2019. His source list was revealed on the MOJO!!. It would include rips related to any Sonic cartoon before Sonic X, rips featuring music from any Sonic the Hedgehog game on a SEGA console (and Sonic Mania), rips featuring music from the Puyo Puyo series, and classic-style YTP edits featuring Dr. Robotnik.

In Round 1, Dr. Robotnik faced Mr. Krabs and lost. In the Loser's Bracket, he beat the Men in Black and Nintendo Power, but then lost to Rhythm Masters.

Trivia

• Dr. Robotnik is one of 4 characters to be beaten in the first round, but eventually, rank higher than the character who initially defeated them. The others being Rhythm Masters, Mariya Takeuchi, and Johnny Bravo. In Robotnik's case, he outlasted Mr. Krabs.
• Dr. Robotnik was the first character to have a full arrangement. This being "Quickly Difficult", an arrangement of "Faceoff at the Magician’s Tower!" from Puyo Puyo 2. A secret Mojo page was put up for the arrangement after Fleety found a security flaw after looking around the Mojo's codes. This secret Mojo page was only accessible through a link which can still be found here.
• Dr. Robotnik is married to Satan from the Puyo Puyo series according to this Mojo post. This tidbit is added in correspondance to Long John Baldry, the voice of Dr. Robotnik in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon, being openly gay amongst his peers.
• With a whopping total of 41 rips, Dr. Robotnik contains the most King for Another Day rips out of all contestants. His high rip count is also referenced in the last Mojo post.
• According to this Mojo post, Dr. Robotnik merely contains YouTube Poop rips featuring him as a means to gain more traction onto his side, as he believes "much of [the] audience is blinded with nostalgia".
