"Dreamscape" is a song from the musical project 009 Sound System. It is a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.
Overview[]
"Dreamscape" is a track composed by American musician Alexander Perls Rousmaniere, originally released in 2005 as part of his 009 Sound System project and later re-released in a compilation album in 2009. It is an electronic trance song that incorporates somewhat ethereal vocals partway through, repeating the lyrics "You can do anything you want to, you can do anything".
The song rose to great popularity on YouTube in the late 2000s and early 2010s with the introduction of the AudioSwap feature on February 22, 2007, which allowed users to replace audio of copyrighted music in their videos with a royalty-free song from its library, including songs from 009 Sound System. Since the library's lists displayed all genres by default and listed artists alphabetically, 009 Sound System would appear at the top, leading to its songs being frequently used in videos. Although many initially expressed distaste for the songs due to their overuse, they have since been widely regarded as nostalgic and symbolic of early YouTube culture, particularly "Dreamscape", with uploads of the songs garnering dozens of millions of views.

"Dreamscape" was first referenced by SiIvaGunner in the rip "Dream Land - Super Smash Bros.", which was uploaded on the GiIvaSunner channel on March 21, 2016, and has not been reuploaded after the GiIvaSunner Termination. The song has since been featured in several rips as a reference to 2000s YouTube culture and is sometimes used alongside other popular songs from that period, such as "Bodies" by Drowning Pool and "Paralyzer" by Finger Eleven, as well as other songs from 009 Sound System such as "Trinity" and "With a Spirit". It is commonly used to represent Unregistered HyperCam 2, a character based on the early YouTube era, and was prominently featured in the Unregistered HyperCam 2 Takeover after the character was elected as a channel host in the King for a Day Tournament.
