"Exclusive Interview | Cryptid Hunt" is the announcement video for the album ...Presented by Cryptid Hunt: The Cryptid Collection. It continues the story from "The Night Stalker of Point Pleasant | Cryptid Hunt".

Summary[]

The video is in the style of a documentary. Following the previous installment, the narrator presents an interview of the cryptid hunters hired by Flint, who take turns giving their account of what they found out about the Mothman. Each hunter confirms seeing and engaging with the Mothman: the first hunter rapidly shot at the Mothman, the second hunter was unable to get a shot due to the Mothman's shrieking, and the third hunter's attempts to get physical evidence of the Mothman were destroyed by the Mothman's shrieking. Eventually, one of the first hunter's shots is enough to startle the Mothman into dropping a sleeping bag it was carrying before flying away, which turned out to be a bunch of rocks. As each hunter contemplates about their experience with the Mothman, the narrator concludes the video by suggesting that the existence of Mothman may remain a mystery forever. After this, the video shows the album cover for ...Presented by Cryptid Hunt: The Cryptid Collection with the caption "OUT NOW" as the video ends.

NARRATOR: Welcome to this special edition of "Cryptid Hunt". Tonight, we have an exclusive interview with a quality group of cryptid hunters. An original witness of the elusive Mothman sent these rugged men on a mission to hunt it down. They will now report their findings to the world and reveal once and for all if Mothman is a hoax or an urban legend come to life.

HUNTER #1: Well, the outcome of this was certainly nothin' like I would've saw comin', and I've seen some BIG ol' critters.

HUNTER #2: Yep, we found 'im' alright! Two giant wings and big red eyes that stare right into your very soul. Heh, couldn't stare into mine. That buggar ain't intimidating me!

HUNTER #3: We found him in that very forest, and it appeared to us that he was hovering above the ground, watching somebody in a sleeping bag. We knew we had to act, and fast, to save whoever was there.

HUNTER #1: I took out my shotty and started blastin' at that bastard like it was a coyote eatin' up all my chickens. *Shotty sounds* Wapow, wapow, wapow! It flew faster than a hawk to a hare for dinner.

HUNTER #2: Dumb c*** hurt my bloody ears. Let out a mighty shriek that nearly broke the sound barrier, couldn't get a clear shot.

HUNTER #3: That shriek measured over to 100 decibels, and it shorted all my equipment. All my footage, gone! *Sobbing sounds* I'm gonna shit my pa-

HUNTER #1: It tried to swoop down and fly off with the darn sleepin' bag while all of us were distracted. I focused in and gave one last shot. *More shotty sounds* Kapow! Startled the thing enough for it to drop it. Uh, probably not a good idea if there was a person in there. Whoops.

HUNTER #2: Called my mate a bloody idiot and checked the bag, only to find a bunch of rocks! By the time we looked back up, the creature had flown off into the night sky.

HUNTER #3: A sleeping bag full of rocks? I didn't quite get it. I assumed it must've been part of its plan to distract us so it could get away safely, but... I just can't shake that feeling there's something more to this!

HUNTER #1: Wish I get to hang that thang's head on above my fireplace, but nothin' can beat a good ol' hunt. Bet that giant horse fly ain't coming back here anytime soon.

HUNTER #2: This brings me back to the time I found the Bunyip and wrestled it like it was a giant croc. Good times were had by all, but in the end, the mozzie bested us. Next time will be a different story, tellin' ya mate.

HUNTER #3: Was it just... protecting the bag? Was it trying to send a message? What could it all mean...? Whatever the case, I just wish we got any sort of physical proof of its existence. Though, something is telling me... This isn't the last we will see of this demon.

NARRATOR: Without any physical proof, we aren't able to verify the Mothman's existence. But if this set of hunters is to be believed, Mothman is not only real, but still alive. If this is the case, why did it come back after over six decades? Has it always been lurking in the shadows unnoticed, or was it trying to send the world a message of its return? Will it really be the last time we see this strange creature? With so many questions still unanswered, the legend of Mothman continues to be a mystery, and perhaps forever will.
