Rips[]
As Family Guy is a popular American animated TV series like The Flintstones, "Family Guy Main Title" was used as one of the replacements for "Meet the Flintstones" during the reboot, along with "The Simpsons Main Title Theme". For this reason, it is used almost exclusively as a melody change joke, similarly to "Meet the Flintstones".
However, the themes for both Family Guy and The Simpsons are relatively difficult to use in high quality rips[1], so while the two universes were merged in "A Grand New Era ~Ending~ - SilvaGunner: Rebooted" allowing both themes to coexist with "Meet the Flintstones", they were mostly relegated to medley rips afterwards.
Separately from its role in the reboot, several rips have sampled the opening trumpet from the theme, either to segue into a segment or to end a rip.
