"Fever" is a frequently ripped track from Dr. Mario.

Overview[]

"Fever" is one of the tracks used in Dr. Mario levels. Due to its upbeat and fast-paced nature, the track quickly became popular in the Dr. Mario series, being arranged in later games. The track also received a remix in Super Smash Bros. Melee, as part of Dr. Mario's appearance in the game.

The track was notably plagiarized in a ringtone known as "midi_10" featured on the Motorola MPx200.

The first rip of "Fever", "Dr. Mario - Super Smash Bros. Melee", was uploaded to the GiIvaSunner channel on March 6, 2016. After the GiIvaSunner Termination, an improved version of the rip was uploaded to the SiIvaGunner channel on April 29, 2016.

There are 16 rips of "Fever" and its remixes on the SiIvaGunner channel, with most of them being the Super Smash Bros. Melee version. Some rips of the Super Smash Bros. version also reference the first rip of the track, mostly featuring elements of "Crank That" before being replaced by another unrelated source.
