"Final Boss - Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles" was a low quality rip of "Final Boss" from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles.

Jokes[]

At 0:18, the visuals fade to black as the advertised track abruptly dies down with Bender from Futurama saying "Bam it again, Elzar. Knock it up another notch!". Afterwards, it switches to a poor midislap of "Roundabout" by Yes using a Sega Genesis soundfont, as the visuals show a distorted thumbnail changing to one in the style of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure logo referencing the use of "Roundabout" in the show. At 5:48, right on the last few notes, a "To Be Continued" arrow used in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure appears along with the image going grayscale.

History[]

This rip was uploaded on June 23, 2016.[1][2]

It was removed by SiIvaGunner, sometime after August 8, 2016 and before August 22, 2016.[3] Later, in a Reddit AMA, Chaze the Chat elaborated on the reasons behind this rip's removal.[4][5][6][7] This was confirmed by Solid STRGG himself[8]

Although it was removed from the channel, this rip became the bonus track on the album JOEJOE'S BIZZAERE JOJOKE, albeit without the bait-and-switch introduction at the beginning.

  4. Reddit comment 1: It was a midi slap with an inaccurate Genesis soundfont that we didn't expect anyone to actually like so we removed it and then the backlash was big but we didn't bring it back because epic jojokes
  5. Reddit comment 2: it was bad so really no it's not a lame reason
  6. Reddit comment 3: Are you telling me, the creator of the channel, that we didn't have a group of quality control to screen every submission we had to make sure it was good enough for the channel? We put a lot of work into making sure every single one of our rips was something that we were proud of uploading, and if we ever took something down, it was something we felt lowered the overall quality of the channel.
  7. Reddit comment 4: You're missing the point. Everything we uploaded, whether it was a quick joke or something that took a ton effort, we were happy with. Yes, that includes the beans. Yes, that includes the kazoo rips. Everything we uploaded was something we could look at and say "yes, this deserves to be on the channel." However, the roundabout one was different: none of the backroom liked it. Whenever we took down a rip, it was done so specifically because we did not think it deserved to be up on the channel and it wouldn't have been put on the channel if we would have looked at it. It's not about "how much effort was put into it" like you're saying I said, it's about how it sounds. I've heard rips with little effort into it sound amazing or rips with a ton of effort put into them sound slightly off, and that's okay. The problem here is we as a group personally believed it did not deserve to be on the channel, and I stand (epic jojoke!!!) by that decision.
  8. Reddit comment: I stand behind this man, also I'm the one who created the Sonic 3 Final Boss rip.
