Gabe Logan Newell, also just known by Gabe Newell or GabeN is the president and co-founder of Valve. He is also a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.
Summary[]
Gabe was born on November 3, 1962. He would attend Harvard in the 1980s but would drop out of it to work at Microsoft. He and his friend Mike Harrington would leave Microsoft in 1996 so they could found Valve and fund their first game, which was Half-Life. The company has continued to be successful and has many different well known games attributed to it such as the Portal series.
Rips[]
Gabe Newell is typically used in rips with soundclips of him being pitch-shifted or sentence-mixed. He is also commonly used in YTPMV rips. These rips usually use the video "The Beatles Rock Band" by Mega64 or clips of Gabe talking from the Team Fortress 2 developer commentary.
During the SiIvaGunner All-Star Summer Festival 2021: Legends of the Western Sunset, the 25th anniversary of Valve's founding would be celebrated with the Gabe Newell Takeover channel event in which Gabe would takeover. This event had rips related to Valve games uploaded, but also had many rips related to Gabe himself uploaded. Gabe continued to occasionally appear in rips after the event ended.
In the rip "Drifting time misplaced - gm_liminal_hotel", it is shown that Gabe is chased and quickly killed by the Steve Harvey nextbot. His funeral is shown within the rip "death.wav - Garry's Mod", and during said rip, Gabe Newell comes back to life.
