Gachimuchi Pants Wrestling is the name given to the sub-culture of remixes and edits of adult films, usually involve muscular men wrestling in a pornographic manner. Since its debut, it has become a minor meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.

History

Gachimuchi

On August 10th, 2007, a video titled 本格的 ガチムチパンツレスリング ("Authentic Gachimuchi Pants Wrestling") was uploaded on the Japanese video-sharing website Nico Nico Douga. This video was a clip from the pornographic wrestling film "Workout: Muscle Fantasies 3", featuring a match between Billy Herrington and Danny Lee. The video would gain popularity, but was eventually removed due to the uploader deactivating their account. On September 30th, 2007, the video was reuploaded and became wildly more popular. Due to this popularity new videos were uploaded featuring clips from different adult films starring the same actors. The community took the clips and came up with new Japanese quotes based on misheard dialogue in English films. These new quotes are known as 空耳 ("Soramimi"), and dictates the character's names, their personalities, their motivations, and their philosophies. Since its inception, The Gachimuchi Pants Wrestling series has become a staple on Nico Nico Douga, especially in 音mad videos.

Characters

• Billy Herrington /兄貴(born July 14, 1969 - died March 2, 2018) - The main character of the Gachimuchi Pants Wrestling series. Billy was a very prolific actor in pornographic films until his retirement in 2001. The nickname given to him by the Japanese means "Big Brother" and is a show of respect. Billy became aware of his fame in December, 2008 and was an active member of the community until his death.
• Danny Lee/木吉カズヤ (born November 8, 1968) - The second most important character and is considered the secondary protagonist. In MADs he is characterized as wanting to become stronger. Danny first learned of Gachimuchi in early 2021 and is currently an active member of the community.
• Van Darkholme/TDNコスギ (born October 24, 1972) - He is known for his appearance in the film "Lords of the Lockerroom" in which he wrestles with Mark Wolff. He is a fan favorite character because of his comedic outfit and amusing dialogue. Van first became aware of gachimuchi in late 2009 and now streams on Twitch.
• Mark Wolff/いかりやビオランテ (born September 5, 1972) - He appears in the film "Lords of the Lockerroom" and wrestles with both Van Darkholme and Billy Herrington.

Rips

The first rip to feature Gachimuchi was "Ringside (Perfect Ver.) - Rhythm Heaven Fever" on the GiIvaSunner channel. The next rip using Gachimuchi was also the first use of it on the SiIvaGunner channel, "Main Theme - Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty" rip. Many rips use sound clips from Gachimuchi videos to make YTPMVs, such as in the "Gerudo Town (Day) - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" rip. More recent rips featuring Gachimuchi videos will often use "NTSC Version" as the mix name of said rip, referencing the mix name's association with YTPMV-related rips. It was also used during the Nico Nico Takeover event.

Billy Herrington's 53rd Birthday was celebrated on July 14, 2023 with a channel event, with rips featuring Gachimuchi.
