The rip begins with modified gameplay footage of the "Tutorial" level with Girlfriend and Boyfriend replaced with Curly Brace and Quote from Cave Story respectively. When the level starts, a game over sequence is immediately triggered, with the game over sound effect replaced with that of Cave Story, followed by the advertised track, which has its melody changed to "Moonsong" from Cave Story.

- The download contains full sprite sheets for Girlfriend and Boyfriend, despite only their idle animations being shown in the rip.
