Gegagedigedagedago (also known as the ROBLOX Chicken Nugget, Omega Nugget, or simply Nugget) is a given name for a Chicken Nugget meme character deepfaking and singing to "Cotton Eye Joe" by Rednex and "Gegagedigedagedago" by Razi Irawani. Originated from TikTok, both the character and the songs associated with are major memes on the SiIvaGunner channel.

Background[]

"Cotton-Eyed Joe" (or "Cotton-Eye Joe") is an American folk song that was popular before the American Civil War, although its origins beyond that are undocumented. In 1994, it gained newfound popularity when it given a Eurodance remix as "Cotton Eye Joe" by the novelty act Rednex.

In 2023, the TikToker @razioff created a cover of the Rednex song with gibberish-laden lyrics, dubbing it "Gegagedigedagedago". Later, an edit of the Travis Scott Chicken McNugget McDonalds meal with a face from ROBLOX were deepfaked onto the song. This character would go on to take the name of the song.

Throughout 2024, various rips and promotional media recognized this trio as an associated group.

"Cotton-Eyed Joe" was not a prominent source prior to this joke; appearing thrice in 2016 ("Inkopolis News (Unused Mix) - Splatoon", "Last Goodbye - Undertale", and "Rancid Raceway/Nearburg - Nicktoons Racing (GBA)"), and twice in 2023 ("One-Winged Angel (Beta Version) - Final Fantasy VII", and "Athletic Theme (PAL Version) (Beta Mix) - Super Mario World").

Gegagedigedagedago was later given focus during its own channel event and story arc, The Gegagedigedagedago-ver and e∩Ω respectively.
