Geno

Geno is a character from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. He is a competitor in the King for a Day Tournaments. He was initially selected as a popular fan submission, being #5 in the ballot overall.

Geno is usually associated with the song "Beware the Forest's Mushrooms", which has appeared as a frequently ripped track and a meme on the channel.

In the SiIvaGunner All-Star Nuclear Winter Festival, Geno was found in a camp of survivors by Wood Man and the Joke-Explainer™ 7000. Prior he was able to walk to the crater of the meteor that had crashed, but refused to discuss what happened. Eventually, he decides to tell the two about his travel to the meteor. Surviving the radiation it caused from being non-organic, and touching it, only to have no memory of what happened after. He was later found in a crazed state by the campers and nursed by "an eccentric German man with a history as a mercenary" who extracted the troubled memories and stored them in a drive. Afterwards he agrees to follow Wood Man and the Joke-Explainer to the meteor crater, but only until a certain point.

Near the end of their walk, they come across the ground being cover by Lifestream essence from Final Fantasy VII, which Geno learned about from the hero Cloud Strife. Geno states that the essence had attempted to ward off the meteor, but failed due to lacking assistance from Holy, a powerful spell. A few days later, Geno turned back from the crator, leaving a drive with his locked-away memories as a parting gift.

Geno was revealed as the second competitor on July 17, 2018. His source list included songs from Mario RPG games. Geno was eliminated by the Wario Bros. in Match 8 of Round 1.

Geno returns in the King for Another Day Tournament. His design is seemingly unchanged, although he is showng off his arm cannon more. His source list now includes rips featuring songs by Yoko Shimomura, with specific examples given to music from the Kingdom Hearts series, and music from Street Fighter II.

In Round 1, Geno faced "Weird Al" Yankovic and lost. In the Loser's Bracket, he faced Johnny Bravo, and was eliminated.

Geno is the only tournament competitor to sport the same design and clothing in both King for a Day and King for Another Day. Unless you count the more prominence of his arm cannon.
- This also applies to the individual characters of Popoy and Marcianito.
Geno is the only tournament competitor to have 3 losses and 0 victories.
- This also applies to the individual characters of Pitbull, Will Smith/Agent J, Popoy, Marcianito, and Howard, but not the competitors (Pitbull, Will Smith, and the Dancing Alien Team have 1 loss each, and Pitbull and the Aliens and Men in Black have 2 losses each, which adds up to 3 losses for each individual character).
- The distinction of having 0 victories is also shared with all King for Another Day newcomers who lost in Round 1 of the Loser's Bracket: Quote, Adam Levine, HOBaRT, and Eminem.
In "SilvaGunner: King for Another Day - All Vs/Victory Lines (Secrets and Easter Eggs!)", Geno's VS. quote against DJ Professor K is an error. In the video, Geno repeats the VS. quote used against Adam Levine. This was later confirmed by a member of the team who worked on the quotes.^[1]
