"im here to see doom" is a 2016 YouTube video by 3pac shakir. It became a minor meme on the SiIvaGunner channel after its debut in "A Feeling Of Power (Blue Lagoon) - Heavy Rain".
History[]
The original video is a heavily edited cutscene from Heavy Rain with YTP elements. In the video, the character Norman Jayden's line "I'm here to see Paco" is dubbed over with a sample from MF DOOM's "Rapp Snitch Knishes"[1] of Mr. Fantastik saying "MF DOOM", creating the titular sentence "I'm here to see MF DOOM". This sample and a sample from the intro of the same song are interspersed throughout the video.
The video appears to be inspired by another YouTube video called "I'm here to see Paco.", which features the same Heavy Rain scene and a similar repetition of a character's name.
Rips[]
Most rips featuring this meme are edits or shot-for-shot remakes of the original video with the various elements dubbed over with things relevant to the advertised track. For example, "Gourmet Race (64) - Super Smash Bros. UItimate" has the video dubbed with Kirby-related elements; "Rapp Snitch Knishes" is "Gourmet Race" and MF DOOM's name is Kirby's name.
Rips may also invoke the meme by incorporating parts of "Rapp Snitch Knishes" into the music. "Bonus Screen (PAL Mix) - Super Mario World", for example, is a straight cover of "Coffin Nails", the instrumental track that backs "Rapp Snitch Knishes".
Outside of rips, it was also parodied in the King for Another Day Tournament MOJO!! post "A Feeling of Power".
