This is a reveal trailer for the competitor Papyrus.
Summary[]
Like all of the reveal trailers, it begins with the "What's This!?" jingle and animation. It fades into an Undertale animation in which Sans recieves an invitation to be a competitor in the tournament, before ultimately turning it down and letting his brother Papyrus join in his stead. The trailer ends with an edit of the "Bonetrousle" variant used in the Undertale release trailer, as we see the reveal of Papyrus' name and artwork. Papyrus' name is in his signature font, and it displays the effects of his "blue soul mode" attack before ending with the King for Another Day reveal trailer outro.

[Initially, the screen is black, and we hear someone knock on a door.]
Papyrus: SANS, WHAT IS THAT INFERNAL KNOCKING SOUND?!
[The light goes on, revealing the scene to be in Papyrus and Sans' house, as Sans walks through the door. The song "sans." begins playing as we see the following exchange.]
Sans: relax bro, it was just the mail.
Papyrus: IS THERE ANYTHING FOR ME, THE GREAT PAPYRUS?
Sans: nope.
Papyrus: THEN WHAT'S THAT LETTER FOR, MR POPULAR?
Sans: it's a letter from some guy named "siivagunner"...
he invited me to some tournament.
says i get the chance to be a king or something.
Papyrus: THAT SOUNDS SPECTACULAR!!
BUT WHY WOULD THEY INVITE YOU. . .
TO AN EVENT OF SUCH CALIBER??
Sans: dunno. i'm a lovable guy.
Papyrus: THAT IS HIGHLY DEBATABLE.
[Papyrus begins to pout.]
Papyrus: THIS TOURNAMENT WOULD HAVE BEEN MY DREAM COME TRUE.
MY CHANCE TO BECOME BELOVED BY ALL!
BUT INSTEAD THEY WENT WITH MY LAZY, GOOD FOR NOTHING
[Sans cuts his brother off as the music abruptly stops.]
Sans: i'm not gonna go.
[beat]
Papyrus: WHAT??
Sans: i don't wanna be a king. too much work.
Papyrus: BUT YOU HAVE A PERFECTLY GOOD INVITATION
AN OPPORTUNITY THAT OTHERS WOULD KILL FOR
AND YOU'RE JUST GOING TO PASS IT UP??
HOW UTTERLY SELFISH OF YOU, BROTHER!
Sans: you can have it if you want.
[beat]
Papyrus: YOU'RE NOT KIDDING ME THIS TIME?
Sans: nope.
["Bonetrousle" begins playing as Papyrus starts gleefully spinning in place.]
Papyrus: FINALLY!!!
A CHANCE TO SHOW THE WORLD. . .
WHAT THE GREAT PAPYRUS CAN DO!
THIS WILL SURELY MAKE ME POPULAR. . .
BEYOND MY WILDEST DREAMS!
A DAY ALL ABOUT ME!

Papyrus: I SO DESERVE THIS!
Sans: yep. congrats bro.
just be sure to give a shoutout to your pal sans would ya?
Papyrus: HOW TYPICAL OF YOU.
ALWAYS MAKING MY SPECIAL MOMENTS ABOUT YOURSELF.
BUT IF YOU INSIST.
Sans: bear with me bro, it'll be so...
...bonely without you around.
[A rimshot plays as the camera zooms in on Sans facing the viewer, just like in Undertale.]
