"Lagtrain" is a Vocaloid song by Japanese musician inabakumori. It is also a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.

Overview[]

Lagtrain was released on July 16, 2020 as inabakumori's second single. A music video was also uploaded on the same day, featuring artwork by illustrator Nukunuku Nigirimeshi. The song uses the voicebank of vocaloid Kaai Yuki. The video shows Osage-Chan, a recurring character in the artist's works, riding a local train while reflecting on her inner thoughts of anxiety and fearful dreams.

The song was a huge hit, collecting millions of views on its official uploads, and becoming one of the most famous tracks of the artist. The song was later included along with other songs on Weather Station, inabakumori's second album, released on March 23, 2022.

Rips[]

The first rip featuring "Lagtrain" on the SiIvaGunner channel was "Circus (Tchoo Tchoo Mix) - Five Nights at Freddy's", uploaded on March 2, 2022. The song did not reappear again until Season 7, where it had a major resurgence and became one of the most used sources in the season. Most of the rips featuring "Lagtrain" are melody changes or mashups. Some rips, such as "Coconut Mall (JP Version) - Mario Kart Wii" and "Lagplane - Tate's Journey" also parody the song's visuals.

"Lagtrain" was notably used during the song's third anniversary and inabakumori's birthday, where some rips with the song were uploaded in succession. The song itself was also ripped via CHUNITHM PARADISE LOST.
