"Lifelight (E3 2018 Ver.) - Super Smash Bros. UItimate" is a high quality rip of the E3 2018 ver. of "Lifelight" from Super Smash Bros. UItimate.
Jokes[]
This rip is part of a series of fakeout rips that start out the same as existing BotanicSage mashups before veering off into different directions, and which list BotanicSage as a composer.
This rip starts out recreating "C'Mon And Ride The Ultimate Smash Hype Train", a mashup of "Lifelight" with "C'mon N' Ride It (The Train)" by the Quad City DJ's and "B.O.B." by Outkast. However at 0:10, "C'mon N' Ride It (The Train)" switches to a cover that features noticeably awkward instrumentals. At 0:30, the "B.O.B." verse is performed comically ineptly.
At 1:29, it then parodies the section in BotanicSage's mashup with the Super Smash Bros. announcer and "Choices (Yup)" by E-40, with them announcing various fighters that would appear in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, though ends with saying "No" to Waluigi.
In this rip, the announcer is replaced with NaturalReader Mike and "Choices (Yup)" is replaced with Microsoft Sam, with them instead announcing various fighters that mostly reference both actual Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighter news (Joker) and fighters from the "Grinch Leak" hoax, with Waluigi replaced with Nico Yazawa, followed by Microsoft Sam saying "Probably" and a clip of "Nico Nico Nii!~" playing:
Joker? Yes.
Banjo? Yes.
Kazooie? Yes.
Chorus Kids? Yes.
Geno? Yes.
Isaac? Yes.
Ken? Yes.
Shadow? Yes.
Mach Rider? Seuss' The Grinch? Kanye, Sans, and Komaeda?
Mmm, yes.
Nico Yazawa?
Probably.
At 1:45, "C'mon N' Ride It" switches to "Favorite BGM - Quad City DJs - Space Jam Soundtrack" by Jasper, a cover of "Space Jam", another Quad City DJ's song. At 1:58, Chaze the Chat sings a parody of the Nick Crompton verse in "It's Everyday Bro" about Wolf O'Donnell's return appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate:
You know it's Wolf Crompton and my blasters stay poppin',
Yes I can rap, and no I'm not from Venom!
Smashville is my city, and if it weren't for Sakurai,
then I would not be returning.
At 2:12, the howl from "Animals" by Maroon 5 plays. From 2:19 to the end, Chaze the Chat awkwardly sings the actual lyrics to "Lifelight".
