The twelfth anniversary of the Lost Media Wiki was celebrated on the SiIvaGunner channel with a channel event in 2024.
Summary[]
All rips uploaded on this day related in some way to lost media and/or lostwave, including current, former, and fictional examples of both. For an example of the latter, "Subways Of Your Mind" was frequently used due to it being a meme relevant to this theme.
During the event, the avatar was changed to depict The Joke-Explainer™ 7000 as LMW-tan, the mascot of the Lost Media Wiki. The catchphrase was changed to "For more information, please find the channel description!", while the channel description itself was also edited to remove all text from it.
Partway through the second day, the entire soundtrack to BIONICLE: The Legend of Mata Nui was uploaded together. From "Ending - Kirby & The Amazing Mirror" to "Mystery (Extended Mix) - My House", rips with themes of finality were uploaded. Following this, the final four rips of the event shared their titles with the four lost rips in reverse chronological order. However, immediately upon the publication of the final rip, "Final Level - Mighty Switch Force", all of the event's rips were privatized (including "Final Level - Mighty Switch Force" itself, which might reference how the original "Final Level - Mighty Switch Force" was removed almost immediately after its upload). An unrelated rip, "One-Winged Angel (Nintendo Switch Version) - Final Fantasy VII", was published simultaneously with "Final Level - Mighty Switch Force" and remained public.
After the privatization of all rips uploaded during the event, the channel started posting regular uploads for some time until announcing the albums SiIvaGunner's Highest Quality Rips: Volume L Again [Side A] and SiIvaGunner's Highest Quality Rips: Volume L Again [Side B] and the playlist Lost Media Day via the video "A Found Announcement", along with unprivating all of the previously mentioned rips. Additionally, "GiIva Direct: The High Quality Bubsy Rip" was brought back as an unlisted video after previously having been considered lost media.
