- This rip was released shortly after the announcement of an official buyable Sans Mii Gunner costume and "MEGALOVANIA" remix in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in the 9.4.2019 Nintendo Direct.
- The description was originally normal[1] but later had two lines that say "Arrangement: Toby Fox" added to it on the day of the rip's upload. A fourth line that says "Composer and Arrangement: Copyright Toby Fox" was added the day after the rip's upload. This is a reference to the way the music is repetitively credited to Toby Fox in the game itself.
- This rip performed very above average, becoming the third-most viewed video of Season 4 in only two days. It was surpassed by "Game Over - Sonic the Hedgehog" in April 2020.
