"Madness (OST Version) - Madness: Friday Night Funkin' (Tricky Mod)" is a high quality rip of the OST version of "Madness" from Madness: Friday Night Funkin' (Tricky Mod).

The rip plays footage of a modded version of the level with the following changes, all of which reference Hollow Knight:
- Tricky, Girlfriend, and Boyfriend have been replaced with Nightmare King Grimm, the Godseeker, and the Knight, respectively. Instead of singing, the combatants play guitars, which have original designs corresponding to their characters, with Nightmare King Grimm's guitar styled after the Nightmare's Heart and the Knight's styled after the Pure Nail. The Godseeker sits on her throne, which has been outfitted with speakers with dream Essence designs.
- The level features an arrangement of "Nightmare King" from Hollow Knight that combines elements from various Tricky Mod songs, beginning with the advertised track, incorporating "HELLCLOWN" at 0:47, and incorporating "Expurgation" at 1:35.
- The fire notes are accompanied by particles of the Essence of nightmares.
- As is customary with most Friday Night Funkin' rips, the player character dies despite winning the level. In this case, the death sequence shows the Knight's shell breaking and releasing the Shade within, as a Hollow Knight-style "RETRY?" button appears.

- Like most Friday Night Funkin' rips, the rip's mod files are linked in the description instead of the playlist.
- This rip was originally titled "Madness - Madness: Friday Night Funkin' (Tricky Mod)".[2] It was renamed so another rip could have that title.
- Oddly, even before this change, the mod download's .zip file still referred to it as "Madness (OST Version)".
- This is the first Friday Night Funkin' rip where the player appears to accidentally miss a note (in this case, at 1:36).
- "Spookeez" and "Winter Horrorland (Short Version)" also show the player missing notes; however, those rips have impossible charting as part of the joke.
- This is one of the few Friday Night Funkin' rips not uploaded on a Friday, instead uploaded on a Tuesday.
- Rozebud, the composer of the advertised track, commented saying "This shit is so surreal."[3] This comment was hearted by SiIvaGunner.
