"Main Theme - Kirby Fighters" is a high quality rip of "Main Theme" from Kirby Fighters.
Jokes[]
No elements of the advertised track appear at all in the rip, instead being a pastiche of late-2000s Flash animations. It is the second prequel to "Main Theme - Kirby Fighters 2", following "Main Theme - Kirby Fighters Deluxe" and the earliest in the Kirby Fighters "series".
The use of Flash animations as the rip's joke is likely based on the similarity the advertised game's title has with the simple titling of flash videos of the time (Black vs. White, Brawl Taunts, etc.).

["Kirby Dance" from Kirby Super Star plays as the narrator introduces the short. The text "Kirby Fighters" appears on a black background while the text "press any key..." blinks below the title. The short begins as the "key" is pressed, playing one of Mic Kirby's sound effects from the same game.] Monochrome Kirby: Another day. [furrowing eyebrows] I just hope it's better than the last time, I guess. [A Waddle Dee walks in from the right.] Waddle Dee: I doubt it. Bronto Burt got his wings taken off yesterday. [A speech bubble appears over Waddle Dee, illustrating a Bronto Burt becoming wingless.] Waddle Dee: Wonder what's going to happen today... Monochrome Kirby: Oh. Hey, Waddle Dee. C'mon, don't be so pessimistic. Anything can change!...or whatever they say. Wario: [offscreen] Not if I have anything to say about it, and I do! [Wario shoulder bashes Waddle Dee, knocking him offscreen; he then drops in front of Monochrome Kirby from above. "Wario's Castle" from Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins plays.] Monochrome Kirby: Aw, crap. Wario: [pointing] Hey there, chump. Got any more gold for your old pal Wario? Monochrome Kirby: Well, you took all my money yesterday, so, uh... Wario: Do you have something? Or am I gonna have to give you my infamous Wario Steam? Monochrome Kirby: No, please! Anything but that! Here! Have my last Maxim Tomato, it's all I got left! Wario: [grumbling] Hmph, fine. Wario is pleased for today. But if you don't make it up tomorrow, however... you won't get the taste of my garlicky gas out of your big mouth! See you! [Wario laughs evilly as he leaves the scene. "Sad Song" from Super Mario RPG plays.] Monochrome Kirby: Great. Now I have nothing left. [angry] This place sucks! All people do is fight and make each other miserable! At least tomorrow Wario might take me out of my misery. If only I was born somewhere else... [A purple portal opens in the sky, with a pixel version of 2B from NieR: Automata emerging from it.] Monochrome Kirby: Woah! Who the heck are you? [2B pushes past Monochrome Kirby, as he watches her leave.] Monochrome Kirby: [confused] Uhh... Alright. Nice talking to you, I guess. But what is this...thing you came out of? [Monochrome Kirby looks to the portal, and jumps in. He lands in front of Kirby's house as it appears in Kirby Super Star. The music changes to "Super Pipe House" from Super Mario RPG.] Monochrome Kirby: HOLY SH-*BEEP*! Why does everything look so different? Kirby: [walking out of his house] Uh, dude? Who the *BEEP* are you? Monochrome Kirby: Woah. Are you... me? Kirby: If you are me, then who am I? [Wario suddenly emerges from the portal as it finally closes. The music switches back to "Wario's Castle."] Monochrome Kirby: Oh nooooo! Wario: [landing] Oh my god! Everything here is so shiny! Look at that car, it must be worth a fortune! [The camera pans to the right of Kirby's house, where a stock image of a grey sedan is parked. A pixel art cat in a cardboard box briefly appears in the shot.] Kirby: Yeah, no. You are not going to take my car. Wario: Give me the keys if you don't want to make Wario angry. Kirby: Hah! As if I'd ever do that! Monochrome Kirby: [to Kirby] Yo dude, this guy's tough. Are you sure you wanna do this? Kirby: If I have to, so be it. I am NOT giving this fatass anything. Wario: That does it! You two are about to get the beating of your pathetic little lives! Monochrome Kirby: [exasperated] Great. Just when I thought I was done fighting people on the daily. [A faux fighting game HUD drops into view as the announcer from Super Smash Bros. Melee counts down. "Dream Land" from Super Smash Bros. plays.] Kirby: Yo dude, be right back. Monochrome Kirby: Huh—what? Where are you going!? [Kirby runs offscreen. The camera zooms in on Wario as he charges an attack, turning greener as he does so.] Wario: Oh, it's building up! I told you what would happen if you messed with me! PREPARE FOR MY WARIO STEAM! Monochrome Kirby: [sighs] I guess this is the end. [Monochrome Kirby hears a car's ignition being turned on.] Monochrome Kirby: Wait, what is that- [A car honks its horn loudly.] Kirby: You want my car so badly? Come and take it! [Kirby's sedan barrels into Wario, knocking him into the distance as he wheezes. The music switches back to "Super Pipe House".] Monochrome Kirby: [relieved] That guy was the worst! Thank you for finally getting rid of him. Kirby: No problem, I guess. But I still don't get why you're just a gray version of me. Monochrome Kirby: Honestly, me neither. But I'm just glad to not be back where I'm from. Kirby: Well, I guess it'd be wrong just to not give you a place to stay, so you can stay at my place. Just as long as you can follow my house rules. Monochrome Kirby: Woah, you'd really do that? Seriously? Thank you... "Me"! Kirby: Don't mention it. I will show you around this place. Grab you some fast food, you know what I mean? Monochrome Kirby: That sounds damn good. Let's go. [The two Kirbies walk off together as the scene fades. The text "Replay?" appears, but each letter shifts to a different character, resulting in the text reading "h7x1fy?".] |
ARG[]
At the end of the video, the "Replay?" text gradually changes to the string "h7x1fy?". Additionally, a cat in a box can be seen at 2:09, which hints at how to use the string. Using the string (without the question mark) as an ID for the file hosting site Catbox leads to this image, which is needed for the next step in the ARG.
