The rip begins with Eggnog phasing into view with the advertised track playing softly in the background. At 0:08, a picture of a smiling Kanye West edited to have sinister white eyes suddenly appears and fades to white, accompanied by the explosion sound effect from EarthBound. At 0:17, the white background becomes the video "Shrek wreks kids party", in which a young girl's birthday party is ruined by the appearance of a person in a Shrek costume.

According to toonlink, this rip originated as an inside joke among his friends. A mutual friend of toonlink and DatManOvaDer had posted a picture of himself at the beach, and much to their amusement, a funny-looking kid in a life jacket also ended up in the photo. This rip was initially made by DatManOvaDer exclusively for their private server, but toonlink wanted to upload it to SiIvaGunner. DatManOvaDer agreed to it, and made additional Eggnog rips for the channel, which eventually led to Eggnog becoming a minor channel meme.
