- At 0:17, the audio and visuals imitate the "e (Euler's number)" section from "YO-KAI Disco (Hell's Entrance World) - Mamorukun Curse!".
- At 0:39, an "e" in the 2 typeface throbs in the center of the screen.
- At 0:46, the "E" from the logo for Banjo-Tooie appears.
- At 0:50, two "E"s from the rip "Main Theme - e" appears, which itself is based on the thumbnail of WarioWare: Smooth Moves.
- At 0:56, the thumbnail for the video "Calculating Pi with Real Pies" by Numberphile briefly appears and the video is added to the YTPMV until 1:07.
- At 1:16, Jack Black from the Sesame Street segment "Jack Black defines Octagon" is placed on top of James' head as a clip of Jack Black saying "dick" from "Inward Singing" by Tenacious D plays.
