National Go Fishing Day was celebrated on the SiIvaGunner channel with a channel event in 2023. The event was intended to pay additional tribute to the deceased team member Marrow, who was initially honored with National Go Fishing Day 2019, and to finish ripping the Ultimate Angler / StreetPass Fishing soundtrack.
Summary[]
Starting on May 29, 2023, rips of Ultimate Angler / StreetPass Fishing were uploaded at a rate of one rip per almost every day. In the week leading up to June 18, this accelerated to two rips of the game per day.
On June 18, all rips were of various songs from Ultimate Angler / StreetPass Fishing, mostly the remaining unripped tracks. At the end of the day, all but one song from the game's soundtrack had a rip on the channel.
On June 19, the rip "Collection Complete - Ultimate Angler / StreetPass Fishing" was uploaded, which completed the game's soundtrack. Later in the day, the album I JUST WANNA DO CATCH SOME FISHS was released through the video "A SUPER Big Announcement".
"Don't Fish Me I'm Scared" and "Prehistoric Jellyfishing", two tracks that were initially exclusive to the aforementioned album, were soon uploaded to the channel on June 20.
