Noaka (either stylized as NOAKA or Ncaka) is a inside-joke meme in the SiIvaGunner community based on a quote from an AI-generated extended video provided by SmallBlue, as well represented by an image edit by maintheme2.

In the SiIvaGunner lore, Noaka is a digital figment inside of Haltmann Works Co. Internal Database Portal, part of the titular folder that can only be accessed if the player types the directory to x:\NOAKA.

Origins^[1][]

Noaka (or Ncaka) is an inside joke between the ARG players during the main ARG. Originally on December 20, 2024, a Discord user on the Official SiIvaGunner Fan Server, SmallBlue, put the "What does A stand for?" clue from the PAINT path through the LUMA AI, an AI program that converts images into extended videos, and got the following result: The kid from the 9+10=21 Vine runs away from another kid chasing them, while a caption that seems to read "What Ae Ncaka?" appears.

"Noaka" has usually been used as a word to refer to red herrings, especially joke red herrings intentionally created by people solving the ARG, in reference to the origins of the meme. A Discord emote representing the meme was added to the Official SiIvaGunner Fan Server, which was created by user maintheme2 as part of a series of edits from various users of the original clue image. These edits were initially used to make the "PAINT/???" clue visible, but spiraled to become increasingly unintelligible. The meme was frequently posted on the #arg_paint channel due to the lack of progress for the path, and the moderators quickly made a new channel called "#arg_noaka", which became the de-facto shitpost channel for the ARG players.

On January 17th, 2025, a new folder was added to the NOAKA directory called as "The Prize", in there it services to resolve the NOAKA path. In there it would discover various pieces of information in regards of Noaka as a character in the SiIvaGunner lore:

Noaka is called as the NOAK-3000, and in the manual file, it contains instructions related to the NOAK-3000 Community Safe. The program is a state-of-the-art, brainchild of the doctor Alfred A.Noaka, that services to make files being protected by a password using the patented system SIMULATA-LOCK™. According to the manual, to unlock the "SIMULATA-LOCK™"-locked system, the players need to input the a correct pin number and wait for a built-in timer (5) on the front-face of the display to count down to zero.
In the manual for the NOAK-3000 Community Safe, Noaka was created on the company NOAKA Manufacturing LLC., that contains its tagline "Built to Distract.". The company build takes place in Grandiose City on the streets 793 Funny Ave.
A YouTube channel called as "GeoakaDash" would be created on January 4th, 2025. In which was part of the ARG that contains only a unlisted video called "Geometry Dash - Shaft (WIP Layout)", in which uses the rip "Shaft - Hyperflex" as the background level. The same channel would also comment on the same rip with the comment "awesome stuff, gonna use it in my gd level, id is WG6qk0".
A Flappy Bird clone game called FLAPPY NOAKA, previous known as SUMMON.exe, was found when typing the path x:\NOAKA\i-cannot-take-this-anymore. Completing the game would also reveal a production card for Noaka listed as: "Distributed by / NOAKA / Haltmann Works Company", in which it confirms that NOAKA Manufacturing LLC. is also a distributor, and part of the Haltmann Works Company services. The visuals and the audio are based off of the closing logo for T.A.T. Communications, which had been found on December 28, 2024, 20 days before The Prize was added to the NOAKA path. Both share the same font, synthesizer, and scale of notes.

In the path, it would also discover the game Brainless Clicker and the Super Mario Maker 2 level "Clear This Course!".

After completing the path, the players would be rewarded with a unreleased Internal Log file called "What A Stands For [FILE-INT-NOAKA]".

This website-only log entry reveals that the folder directory x:\NOAKA was created by an unknown party and hidden within the Haltmann Works Co. Internal Database Portal, only discovered by Dr. Andonuts while accessing the database. It was also revealed that the directory could manually generate new files and add them to itself. Dr. Andonuts quickly came to the conclusion that the folder directory wasn't a "folder", but rather an anomaly, a digital figment taking the appearance of the folder itself.

According to the log, the figment's behavior is influenced by an external, transdimensional energy source called "NOAKA Energy™", which likely originated from The World Beyond Ours and has been referred to as being similar in nature to Fool’s Spirit as described in "Christmas Spirit [FILE-07] (Beta Mix)", being difficult to contain or harness. Few tests were conducted to experiment with the directory, leading to the conclusion that the figment is self-aware and capable of creating new files and modifying and removing its own contents as a means of distracting and further drawing in those looking into it.

The log ends with NOAKA directly addressing the viewer in broken, barely legible English, thanking them for creating it, and congratulating them on accomplishing "THE MOST CRUC:I AL OF AILL TASK" ("THE MOST CRUCIAL OF ALL TASK"): nothing. Noaka then muses on about having washed away their constant pain, their fear and worries, by drawing them into a time sink, claiming to be responsible for the feeling they'd felt every time they buried their mind in distractions and quoting KSI's "Thick of It" before revealing it lingered within their mind, growing ever stronger, claiming there was nothing left for them in the folder and instructing the viewer to "CONSUMER THIS NIETWOORK" ("CONSUME THIS NETWORK") until their mind is clean and they could no longer feel anything save for NOAKA itself before bidding them goodbye for the time being.

Following the safe being opened, and the log's discovery, a new YouTube community post was made, with Susie describing how she'd felt a type of "weird, indescribable energy", as if something that shouldn't have happened did so.^[3]

Appearances[]

After the creation and subsequent popularity of Noaka, in December 21, Discord user Link2006 discovered a secret path in the Haltmann Works Co. Internal Database Portal website related to Noaka, in which can be access if the player types "NOAKA" on the file directory. This unlocks a folder containing various memes related to the ARG and the community as a whole.

After this, NOAKA would noticeably be referenced in rips and games that were part of the ARG; as well in addition to the files and games that were found in the GRAND path:

The FanFiction.net release of "Mystery of the SiIcret Gunner - A SilvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis Side Story", Noaka is one of the mentioned characters when Reader list off various characters, appearing in between Ray William Johnson and Angry Joe. In addition, the YouTube link code for "Holiday Spirit [FILE-INT-FOOLS] - Haltmann's Archives" was seen in the comments by the user "noaka".
In "Casino Night Zone (Beta Test) - Sonic the Hedgehog 2", Masato Nakamura is renamed to Masato Noakamura
After the GRAND path was unlocked, a file for the first part of the ARG is included called as "curious.jpg", in which features various memes from the community, including memes related to Noaka itself. In addition, on the list of the most guess code in the "fools.png" grad, "Noaka" appeared as one of the frequently guessed password.
In the commands for the Discord bot, Dogen J, typing "/start noaka" will give a meme edit of the Eight Crazy Nights related to the ARG, featuring the Noaka block.
In the ROBLOX game, petrlb's Place, petrlb takes a visit with the players talking in the Gedagi Language. In his last message, he brief mentions Noaka before leaving the game.
In "Car Doors of Time ~ Side Story - Mr Rental: The Video Game", at 43:57, a image of Noaka made by maintheme2 appears when NBGMusic explains why in regards of the lore explained in the rip.
In "Aria Math (PAL Version) - Minecraft", a block based on Noaka can be seen in various parts of the rip. This also in reference that maintheme2's edit of Noaka is compared with the Minecraft block, the White Glazed Terracotta; as well the supposed "Noaka Block" can be use to make a "portal" in a similar way as The Aether mod.
In "Drifting time misplaced - gm_liminal_hotel", Noaka appears as one of the Nextbots modded characters for the self-titled modpack add-on, noaka's nextbots.
In the Kolo Terorita secret "congratulations.jpg" image, discovering the link from the image lets to a image on Imgur, in which uses the "DO_NOT_CLICK.png" image from the Noaka folder as the "decoy" image.
In the "lp_0.txt" textlog mod for Rain World, for being a parody of the SiIvaCord's #arg_grand channel in the style of a pearl conversation log from the same game, one of the users in the log says: "We manifested noaka into existence by shitposting. Basically imagined a figment into being.". One of the users in the log, "LP", is a short name for the Discord user "Lepidus", who during the ARG made various edits related to Noaka.^[4]
In the Balatro mod, RESPH, the card Magician is based on Noaka.

Trivia[]

In the manual for "NOAK-3000 Community Safe", a link ostensibly leading to Noaka's website can be seen at the end of the text file. The url is actually a Rickroll hyperlink, redirecting to the official music video for "Never Gonna Give You Up". There is a real-life website with that domain (belonging to Noaka Design), but it is empty with only text reading "NOTHING TO SEE HERE! / BUT WRITE TO US... CONTACT@NOAKA.COM". This website is confirmed to not be attached to the SiIvaGunner team as it was created in 2004, 12 years prior to the channel's creation and 20 years before the ARG in-joke.^[5]
