SiIvaGunner Wiki

P-R-O-G-R-A-M is a motif featured in Kirby Planet Robobot. It's a minor meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.

Overview[]

In Kirby Planet Robobot[1][2], a common motif is featured in the title screen theme "Bright Spinning Planet", the final boss themes "Vagrant Keepsake of Oblivion" and "Vagrant Counting Song of Retrospection", and (in major key) the True Arena's rest theme "Spinning Planet Complete"; with all of those tracks being composed by Hirokazu Ando.

Ahead of the official soundtrack for Robobot, the final boss theme was given the fan nickname P-R-O-G-R-A-M after the first letters in the names of the game's 7 worlds, similarly to "C-R-O-W-N-E-D" from Kirby's Return to Dream Land. This name has thus been used to refer to the motif as a whole by SiIvaGunner fans due to its usage in the title of a significant rip.

Rips[]

The track "Vagrant Counting Song of Retrospection" in its entirety was featured in the lore rip "A Grand New Era ~Ending~ - SilvaGunner: Rebooted". In the rip, it is used as the basis for a mashup medley featuring every major recurring joke on the SiIvaGunner channel up to that point (later uploaded standalone as "P-R-O-G-R-A-M - Kirby Planet Robobot"). The melody made another notable appearance the Season 1 Finale rip "Title Theme & Ending - 7 GRAND DAD", where it represented the SilvaGunner: Rebooted story arc as a whole.

As it appeared in two of the most significant rips of 2016, the melody would become instantly recognizable to SiIvaGunner's contributors and community, resulting in it garnering an above-average number of appearances over the years despite never becoming a significant recurring joke on the channel. The majority of the meme's appearances are quotations of the motif (i.e. the first measure of "Bright Spinning Planet") in melody change rips, particularly medleys. The first rip to do so was "Nightmare Battle - Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land", which was actually uploaded 3 rips before "A Grand New Era ~Ending~ - SilvaGunner: Rebooted".
