The Putin Takeover (also known as Russia Day in "Credits - The SiIvaGunner All-Star Winter Festival") was a channel event where Vladimir Putin took over SiIvaGunner. It occurred on Constitution Day, a public Russian holiday.

The avatar was changed to depict SiIvaGunner with characteristics similar to Putin and the banner was changed to depict the "Wide Putin" meme.

The description of the channel during the event was:
