The reboot was a major channel event on the SiIvaGunner channel. It was part of the SilvaGunner: Rebooted story arc.

Summary[]

During the event, the channel's three biggest running gags did not appear in rips, being replaced with the following counterparts:

7 GRAND DAD became "The Simpsons Main Title Theme" and "Family Guy Main Title"
"Snow halation" became "GO MY WAY!!"
Loud Nigra became the Howie scream^{[note 1]}

The video descriptions were also done differently (with some exceptions):

"Composer" became "Composed by"
"Arrangement" became "Arranged by"
"Platform" became "Available on"
The catchphrase became "Read the channel description, please."

I don't own the rights to the songs uploaded on my channel. Recording and ripping video game songs takes a lot of time (especially on 3DS and Wii U), but feel free to PM or Tweet me some suggestions or requests, and I'll see what I can do for you.

My banner artwork is from the 2014 game "Tengami".

The channel banner and avatar also changed, this being the first channel event to incorporate either. At the very start of the event, a Windows blue screen was used as the banner. It was changed after a few hours to instead show the lighthouse emptied of Grand Dad, Smol Nozomi, and Loud Nigra. A few days into the event, Homer Simpson, Peter Griffin, and Haruka Amami took their spots in the lighthouse. At the end of the event, after the upload of "A Grand New Era ~Ending~ - SilvaGunner: Rebooted" the channel banner was switched to the GiIvaSunner era one and the avatar switched to a greyscaled image of Antinous, the statue that SiIvaGunner's profile picture is based on.^[2]

Some minor changes include an increased use of the mix name "CD Version", and the wood texture on the Super Mario 64 thumbnail being removed, but by-and-large the content was not significantly changed other than the absence of the most prominent memes. The album GilvaSunner's Highest Quality Video Game Rips: Volume FOUR HOURS!, announced in the final episode of the story arc, mostly contains rips uploaded during the reboot.
