The rip opens with the opening drum fill from "Theme of Sonic Retro (Space Harrier)" by Cinossu. The melody is then mostly changed to "Main Theme" from Space Harrier, which "Theme of Sonic Retro (Space Harrier)" is based on. At both 0:10 and 3:00, the rip additionally quotes the ending of "Theme of Sonic Retro (Space Harrier)". At 1:03, the melody changes to "The Moon Theme" from DuckTales, referencing "Prom Night" by docfuture1, which samples both "Main Theme" and "The Moon Theme".
