SML, formerly known as SuperMarioLogan, is a YouTube channel centered around puppet and plush toy based content. This channel has become a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.
Overview[]
The first SuperMarioLogan channel would be created on December 8, 2007 by brothers Lance and Logan Thirtyacre. The channel was made for skits that mainly used plushies of the Super Mario characters.Many other people would help with these videos as years went by and other characters from other franchises would be introduced to the series.
On January 24, 2016, the character Jeffy would be introduced in the video "Mario the Babysitter!". This character would be a very controversial addition unlike many other additions. The inclusion of Jeffy among other things in the channel would make it become infamous due to its edgy and dark humor, mainly consisting off stereotypes.
The channel would be frequently demonetized and age-restricted due to its controversial nature. This had caused various alternative accounts for the channel to be made such a SuperLuigiLogan. The channel had appeared on various news spots as a warning for parents to watch what their kids do on the internet.
On February 11, 2021, Nintendo would give the channel a Cease and Desist due to its inappropriate usage of Nintendo characters in the videos. This would cause Logan to make the current SML channel, now with puppet characters replacing the Mario characters.
Rips[]
SML has made constant and consistent appearances throughout the channel's history since its first appearance in the rip "Circus (Mix Version) - Five Nights at Freddy's" back in 2018. It appeared once more in 2018, twice in 2019, and its first notable increase of usage was in 2020.
During Season 4 Episode 2, SML rips had increased substantially and this increase had continued into Season 5. The channel had a small falloff during Season 6, but still had notable uses during the year. SML would receive the most uses in a season during Season 7, with it especially appearing late into the year. It also appeared a lot during early Season 8.
The character Jeffy from the series was originally intended on being a contestant in the SiIvaGunner SmashUp! 2[1]. The contributor treydog1357 has also made various rips related to SML.
Why?[]

"Why?" is a song from the SML video "Jeffy The Rapper". The song is the character Jeffy's debut single and is a hit single in the episode. "Why?" has the most usage out of all of the SML sources featured on the channel and it is commonly paired with other sources relating to Jeffy.
Wanna See My Pencil?[]

"Wanna See My Pencil?" originates from the sequel of "Jeffy The Rapper", titled "Jeffy The Rapper 2". The song is used in a similar manner as "Why?" and is commonly paired up with it and other Jeffy related sources.
The Bunny Do![]

"The Bunny Do!" is a song that originates from the video "Jeffy's Favorite Song". It is Jeffy's favorite song and has made frequent appearances on various SML videos. Unlike many other SML sources, "The Bunny Do!" is used in mainly melody change rips.
