Saidai Seichi Challenge was a channel event on the SiIvaGunner channel celebrating the twelfth anniversary of The Nutshack ending and National Flip Flop Day in 2023.
Theme[]
The event had a lengthy setup, starting on April 25, 2023, during the Dick's Retribution event, with a faded image of Patty Martin from Lucky Star appearing on one of the banners and the rip "Torch Tower - Toree 2" alluding to her being a "special guest". Patty Martin would also briefly appear on the banner again on April 30, 2023, alongside the rip "Fly in the Freedom (Passion & Pride ver.) - Sonic Adventure 2", a Patty-related rip with a catchphrase that would be reused during the event. The rip "Raft Ride (Director's Cut) - The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening" also alluded to the idea of a Patty/Tito Dick-related event.
On May 30, 2023, Tito Dick would disappear from the banner, as the number "531" in the style of the countdown from The Nutshack episode "420" appeared below the banner, in a similar manner as the "425" that appeared for the Dick's Retribution event. Midway through May 31, 2023, Evil Dickman would start to fade in with each new rip, with the banner darkening at 4:00 PM PDT as well as a searchlight featuring the words "TT" and "KU" on a butt being added and a faded image of Patty Martin visible. At 7:50 PM PDT, the banner changed again to a stretched-out version of the January 21, 2003 Garfield comic strip, with the following:
- Garfield's speech bubble changed to read "Carnival Nmight Zone".
- A edit of the "Sonic Hacking error", with Patty Martin in place of Sonic, "Sonic" in the text changed to "patricia", and the "computer" text removed.
- The "531" number moved next to Jim Davis' name.
At 5:00 PM PDT, the banner changed again with the following:
- Text on the top left reading "a> Saidai Seichi Challenge, Challenge: You must survive 8 hours., Current Status: "Startin", in a manner similar to the 6:00 PM PDT banner from the Dick's Retribution event.
- The background was made slightly darker.
- A faded image of the One True Media logo, referencing the video "Lucky Star Lesbian Porn".
- Patty Martin moved to the top of the banner with a glowing effect on her.
- Tito Dick reappears on the Tengami Lighthouse, with all the windows except his being blacked out.
At 5:30 PM PDT, the banner briefly changed to have a QR Code in the center, which would lead to the video "RIP Steve Harvey" by RIP Steve Harvey. At 6:00 PM PDT, the banner changed to have the Tito Dick window blacked out and the "Current Status" text changed to "Flippty Floppty Floop". At 10:00 PM PDT, the banner changed to the background even darker, Tito Dick appear on top of the lighthouse, with him appearing to fight Patty Martin as well as the "Challenge" changed to "FAILED" and the "Current Status" changed to "Hasta La Baby, Bitch!", a line from Phil Matibag from The Nutshack episode "Pimp My Jeepney".
Finally at 12:00 AM PDT, the rip "Victory! (Wild Pokémon) - Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire" was uploaded, to signify Tito Dick being the victor of the event, as the banner switched back to normal.
Rips uploaded[]
Some of the rips uploaded on this day featured jokes related to The Nutshack and/or rips with jokes related to Patty Martin, such as the character song "Saidai Seichi Carnival".
Several different catchphrases were used during the event, with "Please read the channel channel channel description." being the main one for Patty Martin-related rips, referencing the lyric "AKIHABARA-bara-bara-bara TOWN", which originally came from the rip "Fly in the Freedom (Passion & Pride ver.) - Sonic Adventure 2".
