"Science Blaster" is a track created as the intro to YouTube Channel Game Theory. Originally created by SpellingPhailer, a more commonly known iteration was remixed from it made by Nirre and Acid Usagi. It is a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.
Overview[]
On July 18, 2011, SpellingPhailer made Science Blaster as a potential theme song to Game Theory. Most likely an agreement was made and MatPat started using it as Game Theory's intro going forward, replacing the usual copyrighted music MatPat had been using prior, first used in the video, "Game Theory: Can Dig Dug Pop a Human?"
Some time in 2015, Game Theory's livestream spin-off channel, GTLive started using the remix by Nirre and Acid Usagi, promptly followed by the main channel using it in 2016 first used in the video, "Game Theory: Luigi's SECRET Identity (Super Paper Mario)"
GTLive's intro has been replaced as of 2020. But Science Blaster seems to be the intro to Game Theory from 2011 to this very day.
Rips[]
There are 42 rips featuring Science Blaster on the SiIvaGunner channel. The first rip with Science Blaster, Giygas' Intimidation - EarthBound, features a remix of Science Blaster with the lyrics to Gangnam Style.
It's notably used as part of the Sans is Ness meme, although it also appears separately from said meme.
