"Seinfeld Theme" is a theme song composed by Jonathan Wolff for the show Seinfeld. It's a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.
Overview[]
Seinfeld was an influential 90s sitcom starring stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld that ran from July 5, 1989 to May 14, 1998. The theme song used for the show was played over Jerry Seinfeld doing a stand-up bit rather than having a standard intro sequence, so it was slightly different in every episode to fit the timing of the routine.[1] Regardless, the theme was well-remembered for its prominent use of a slap bass and popping noises.
With the show being left in the 90s, it has increasingly become a subject of parody from later generations. The theme in particular has been adopted by many as a stinger for a bad or corny joke. Jerry Seinfeld's starring role in the children's film Bee Movie brought more attention to the show and theme through association.

On the SiIvaGunner channel, "Seinfeld Theme" never became a prominent joke but has accumulated a significant number of appearances over the channel's lifespan. It is almost exclusively used as a melody change joke. It is also ripped pseudo-directly via switcheroo rips in the Deluxe Seinfeld Scene It? The DVD Game playlist.
