"Shop Fusion Collab", initially titled "???" before being renamed,[1] is a high quality fusion collab by the SiIvaGunner team.
Jokes[]
Similar to "Boss Battle Fusion Collab", each segment aside from the "Wii Shop Channel" opening is an arrangement featuring a shop-related source, mostly shop themes from video games, in the style of the source in the previous segment. In addition, each segment has elaborate visuals corresponding to the mix of source and style.

The Joke-Explainer™ 7000 needs your help!
This joke list is incomplete! Please listen to the rip and help fill out these pesky missing spaces.
|
Time | Style | Description |
---|---|---|
0:00 | Intro | The video opens with the Wii's health and safety warning. The Wii home screen is then displayed, which, in addition to the Wii's default channels, contains the following channels, all which reference previous fusion collabs:
The Wii Shop Channel is selected. A banner reading "Channel Time Remaining: 13:51" is displayed above the bottom border, referencing the amount of time left in the video. The "Start" button is selected. |
0:08 | Wii Shop Channel | After a brief loading period, a Mii of Beedle appears, and a bit-crushed Beedle line is heard, referencing the Wii Remote's bit-crushed speaker. A list of "items" from The Wind Waker is displayed, each using a modified game thumbnail:
The Hyoi Pear is selected, prompting dialogue from Beedle: You can't buy this anywhere else! Only here! I'm serious! Now's your chance! Buy buy buy! Buy! The "purchase" button is selected. During the loading screen, 37 memory slots are shown to be available after purchase, the same amount of items bought in the remainder of the video. After the purchase is successful, the player's Wii points drops from 20,000 Wii Points to 18,800. Another bit-crushed Beedle line plays as the segment ends. |
0:35 | The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker | Referencing the previous segment, this part takes place in Beedle's Shop Ship, which has been retextured to resemble a Poké Mart from Pokémon. Beedle's model has been changed to that of a Poké Mart employee from Gen VI, and the HUD is changed to be Pokémon-themed. A Safari Ball replaces the A button and a regular Pokéball replaces the B button due to their matching color schemes. The A, B, R, X, Y and Z markers denoting the buttons are also replaced with the letters' respective Unown forms, and the Link's health is replaced by heart icons from Pokémon Puzzle League.
|
0:58 | Pokémon Diamond & Pearl | |
1:20 | Persona 2: Innocent Sin | |
1:40 | Night in the Woods | Porkrind's Emporium is rendered in the style of the Snack Falcon of Possum Springs. The Roundabout, Smoke Bomb, Heart, and Chaser weapons/abilities are seen behind Porkrind. A slot machine resembling Ribby and Croaks' final form in their boss fight in Cuphead is to the left of the counter. Mae and Porkrind have the following exchange:
Porkrind: Welcome! Mae runs off-camera during her last line of dialogue. Porkrind's first and last lines are identical to his voice lines when entering and exiting his shop in Cuphead. |
2:02 | Cuphead | Rendered in fluid, old-style 2D animation like the source game, a vendor with blond hair and a pink gown announces "Hello!" and sits behind the counter of a burger restaurant, bobbing forward and back. A Mr. Saturn from the Mother series sits to her right, and purchasable food is located to her left.
The player hovers over a hamburger, which costs 7 coins and heals 48 HP, a cup of coffee which costs 4 coins, heals 12 HP and causes the consumer to "enter a dream like trance", a bag of fries that costs 6 coins and heals 24 HP, and a can of fruit juice that costs 5 coins and "heals 6 HP". The player ultimately buys the cup of coffee, deducting 4 coins from their funds and leaving them with 15,771 coins. The vendor then thanks them. The player then enters their inventory, which displays their card, decorated with an old-style illustration of Ness. They navigate to the Travel Charm, displaying their charms. They have Travel Charm, which protects the player from paralysis, Rabbit's Foot, which does the same and adds +40 speed, and Coffee, which is described above. |
2:24 | EarthBound | Marnie's store from Stardew Valley is rendered in the EarthBound style. Ness walks to the counter and talks to Marnie, who says, "Hi Ness!" The options "Buy" and "Sell" appear. When "Buy" is selected, Marnie says, "Animal supplies for sale!" A shop window appears, displaying these items:
Ness selects the Heater, to which Marnie responds, "You want the Heater?" When confirming the purchase, she says, "I love animals, Mr Ness. If you treat yours well, I'm sure we'll become good friends." The store then transitions into a battle, with Marnie and two chickens blocking the way. |
2:47 | Stardew Valley | |
3:08 | Dweller's Empty Path | Yoki from Dweller’s Empty Path enters the shop from the previous segment, and meets up with Hope from Metaware High School (Demo). Yoki states the sign outside the door said it was a Starbucks, which is a reference to how in Metaware High School (Demo), there is a MS Paint(?) mochi store with “Starbucks” (and a crudely drawn version of the Starbucks Logo) crossed out. |
3:31 | MetaWare High School (Demo) | |
3:54 | The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time | |
4:19 | The Jerma985 Dollhouse | A loading bar with "Consuming the Soy..." loads to completion before MAILBOX can be seen in his mailbox. 10 choices are put up on the screen of Apple Juice (20), Waffle (20), Airhorn (25), Popcorn (20), Sparkler (100), Tomato (25), Berry Smoothie (25), Dynamite (100), Present (100), and a Whole Chicken (100). The scene swipes to the sparkler Omori had bought next to Mailbox, and then to Omori. He has Jerma's face. He turns the light off. |
4:35 | OMORI | |
4:51 | Spyro: Year of the Dragon | |
5:10 | Sonic Adventure 2 | Temmie sits behind a cardboard box counter. She says, "hOI! welcom to... da TEM SHOP!!!" In the shopping menu, the player hovers over "tem flake", which costs 3 rings, with the description "Heals 2HP / food of tem", and then quickly scrolls past "tem flake (ON SALE)", which costs 1 ring, and "tem flake (expensiv)" which costs 20, down to "tem pay 4 colleg", which costs 1000 rings, with the description of "COLLEGE / tem pursu higher education".
When going to purchase "tem pay 4 colleg", the Temmie says "thas ALOT o muns... can tem realy acepts..." Purchasing this reduces the player's rings from 11693 to 10693. Temmie says "OKs!!!!" and a graduation cap descends onto her head. The spot "tem pay 4 colleg" left empty is replaced by "temy ARMOR!!!" which costs 1800 rings, with the description "ARMOR 20DF / makes battles too easy" Leading into the next section, the armor blinks and turns into the SOUL from Undertale as it does when transitioning to battle. |
5:28 | Undertale | Zacharie says:
The player enters the "Buy" menu. Zacharie says, "Need anything in particular?" The shop displays these items:
The player, with 3/8 inventory slots filled and 10693G, hovers over Fortune Ticket, which has a description of "Heals 1000HP / Recovers a large amount of HP", and Emmanuel Bat, with a description of "Weapon: 12AT (+3AT) / Offensive equipment", and purchases an Emmanuel Bat. They then buy a Loyal Symbol (with a description of "Weapon: 11AT (+4AT) / Offensive equipment"), a Fortune Ticket, and an Aura of Fear (description: "Armor: 3DF (+0DF) / Defensive equipment (1)). Zacharie says, "There! There!" after each purchase. The player then exits the shop. Zacharie says:
|
5:46 | OFF | |
6:04 | Friday Night Funkin' Lullaby | |
6:27 | The Binding of Issac | On the floor is 3 items, a Mask Shard for 15 cents, a Rancid Egg for 5 cents, and a Simple Key for 5 cents, and behind Sly is a fountain to the Pale King. Isaac buys the Mask Shard which he puts on his face, the description "A Fourth of A Whole". He then donates two cents to the Pale King fountain and buys a Rancid Egg which gets his to full Energy. |
6:48 | Hollow Knight | |
7:08 | Darkwood | Seam appears on the right side of the screen, with text on the left.
Seam: Hee hee... Welcome, stranger. Narration: The creature before you bears resemblance to some animal. Upon closer inspection, however, you find its outsides composed not of fur and skin but thousands of tiny wires interlocked in a vast, tight pattern, each shifting as if individually alive. Seam: You're a long ways from home, aren't you? I can see this darkness sap the vitality from your being even as we speak. This is no place for a lightner, stranger. There's little hope for your escape now. But... perhaps you might find some amusement in perusing some of my collection? Nothing much, just odds and ends. Won't help you survive, but it may help you pass the time, ha ha ha... The player clicks "Trade". In their inventory is every single item previously purchased in the collab. In Seam's wares, they hover over "Shadow Crystal", which has a value of 0, and go to buy it. Seam says, "No charge on that one. It is yours, after all! Ha ha ha..." The player clicks "Accept", and the item is transferred to their inventory. |
7:30 | Deltarune | |
7:50 | Slay the Spire | |
8:13 | Castle Crashers | |
8:35 | Shovel Knight Dig | Shovel Knight lands outside of Dr. Light's Lab, raises his shovel, and then enters the shuttered door. Auto stands in plain view. Shovel Knight rings the bell on the counter, causing Roll to poke her head up. The text reads:
ROLL: HEY- ...BLUE GUY? WELCOME TO AUTO'S SHOP! WE'VE GOT ENERGY TANKS AND BALANCERS READY FOR YOUR ADVENTURING NEEDS! Shovel Knight hovers over the Energy Tank, costing 100 gems, with the description "FULLY RESTORES THE USERS HEALTH ON USE. BUT TAKES UP A RELIC SLOT." A small note in the corner marks this item as "temporary". He then scrolls over to the Energy Balancer, costing 617 gems, with the description "AUTOMATICALLY REFILLS THE RELIC WITH THE LEAST AMOUNT OF MAGIC." This item is marked as "permanent". Shovel Knight selects the Energy Balancer, prompting the message "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO BUY ENERGY BALANCER?" He confirms this. Roll says, "TA-DA! ALL READY. WOULD YOU LIKE ANYTHING ELSE, OR ARE YOU GOOD TO GO?" Shovel Knight decides to go, prompting the message "COME BACK LATER FOR ANOTHER UPGRADE." Roll ducks back behind the counter, and Shovel Knight exits the building. |
8:57 | Mega Man 9 | |
9:16 | Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game | Scott wanders into Hotlantis, prompting an "Oh. Hey." from Harmony. Skimming over the options of an Ink-Splattered Skateboard for $19.80, a Suspicious Garbage Can for $44.44, a Rockin' Music Quarterly for $6.80 and a Rainmaker for $75.80 Scott purchases a Green Squid Cushion for $9.98. He holds it up in the air like an homage to The Legend of Zelda, while Harmony idly plays with her Ultra Hand toy. |
9:37 | Splatoon 3 | |
10:00 | Dead Estate | |
10:21 | PaRappa the Rapper | A modified version of "Flea Market" with Morshu in place of Prince Fleaswallow. Dialogue is changed accordingly.
Morshu: I'm open everyday, it's the way I fly. Sellin' essentials down in Koridai. I got wit, charisma, style and flair. So I'll teach ya how to sell your wares. Lamp oil, rope, bombs? Friend, you want it? |
11:00 | Link: The Faces of Evil | |
11:21 | Plants vs. Zombies | |
11:37 | Inscryption | |
11:54 | Crypt of the NecroDancer | |
12:15 | The Home Depot | The phone shifts off of the video we're currently watching and pans up to a real-life Home Depot. The Shopkeeper from The Messenger greets us as the cameraman gives him three upgrades and a 100 dollar bill. The shopkeep inspects the bill before nodding and giving a wave goodbye. |
12:37 | The Messenger | |
12:53 | Neo: The World Ends with You | Chimata greets the player by saying "ようこそ 月虹市場へ" ("Welcome to the Lunar Rainbow Market"). She has several pins in stock, each based on an ability card from Unconnected Marketeers:
Each pin the player scrolls over is paired with a demonstration of the pin's abilities in the bottom right corner. The player purchases one Snowy Snow Storm, and Chimata responds with "ありがとう! ふっふっふ……" ("Thank you! Fufufufu……"), likely a pun on her last name, "Tenkyuu". |
13:12 | Touhou 18: Unconnected Marketeers | The video shifts to a Wii-themed version of the final boss battle from Unconnected Marketeers. with Drake in place of Chimata. Drake appears on-screen with the animation usually used when a boss starts a spell card. The inventory displays three items in Passive Games, that being icons for Bubble Bobble, YouTube, and Frogger. No games are under the Active Game and Equipment Game slots. The heart icons used for Lives are replaced by Mii Brawler's stock icons from Super Smash Bros., and the icons next to Power and Funds have been replaced by the + and - buttons on a Wii remote, respectively.
Reimu defeats Drake, capturing the final spell card, "Asylum of Danmaku". After being defeated, Drake says "Damn girl, you know how to move! You're free to browse my wares!". Reimu responds with "黙れ悪魔! アンタを倒して幻想郷を元に戻す!" ("Shut up, devil! I'll defeat you, and restore Gensokyo!"), which Drake responds with "Uh... yeah girl, you too." The market opens, and Reimu buys Mart Racer with the remaining 850 funds. Also visible is a card displaying a cell phone, likely referencing Hotline Bling. |
13:52 | Outro | A splash card featuring all of the many shopkeepers is displayed before the music stops. "The period of use for this channel has ended." and "Press the A Button." flash on the screen, referencing the Wii Shop's closure. |
Details[]
- In TONY'S SHOP, Tony's selling a Sonic CD. This is a reference to Sonic CD.
- There's also an Omochao graffiti on the wall.
- In Shop, the paper that covers the screen for the transition has Eggman's speech from SnapCube's fandub of Sonic Adventure 2 written on it.
- In Buy Mode, the loading bar says "Consuming the Soy", a reference to "OMORIBOY the SEXY!!! 🔥🔥🔥" by RainingKetchup.
- In Shop Menu (FNF Lullaby), pictures of Gold and Shinto are on the walls.
- In Lantern, the player's inventory can be seen, mirroring every item bought before then.
- In Sex Sells, the L and R buttons showcase the previous character, Harmony (or Paruko), and the upcoming character, Prince Fleaswallow.
- There's also a bookshelf behind the text, with each book featuring SiIvaGunner-related jokes[2]:
- "THE NUTSHACK EXPLAINED", with a picture of Tito Dick on the back cover
- "ART OF YANKIN, ACT 1", with a picture of Lady on the back cover
- "HOBaRT - OPERATION MANUAL", with a picture of HOBaRT on the back cover
- "TOP 50 REASONS YOUR RIP GOT REJECTED", with a picture of SiIvaGunner on the back cover
- "The SilvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis: Episode 11"
- "EXTREMELY LOUD SEX GUIDE", with a picture of Loud Nigra on the back cover
- "7"
- "SEX 2"
- "UNLISTED AMONG US RIPS", with a picture of the "Among Drip" render on the back cover
- There's also a bookshelf behind the text, with each book featuring SiIvaGunner-related jokes[2]:
- In Prince Fleaswallow's Rap, the various item descriptions are lyrics from his level in PaRappa the Rapper. The items he sells are also items featured in his stage, save the Daisy Cake, which is an item bought by PaRappa during the original game's plot.
- In Goronu, Morshu calls the currency rubies while Parappa calls them rupees. This is a nod to the CD-i Zelda titles mistakenly calling rupees "rubies".
- In Crazy Dave (Intro Theme), Boyfriend and Whitty from Friday Night Funkin' can be seen for a few frames.
- In The Trapper, several knick-knacks can be seen relating to previous shopkeepers, like a Rupee, a Seam plushie, a Jerma logo box (likely Grotto Beasts), and a Zacharie mask.
- In Disco Descent (1-1 with Shopkeeper), the shopkeep doesn't actually appear but is instead Leshy role playing as him like he does in Inscryption.
- This makes Leshy the only shopkeeper to sell items to the player more than once.
- In Where is That Bustling Marketplace Now ~ Immemorial Marketeers, several pieces of Touhou-related memorabilia can be seen in the background.
- In the display case behind Chimata, there are four orbs resembling Aya Shameimaru, Satori Komeiji, Fujiwara no Mokou, and Kogasa Tatara.
- On the shelf on the right side of the screen, from left to right are displayed the Ibuki Gourd, a small and pixelated Suika Ibuki figurine, a small Youmu Konpaku figurine, a Nazrin fumo, a Patchouli Knowledge figurine, and a Ran Yakumo figurine.
- On the bulletin board underneath the shelf, several more pins are displayed:
- Three of Cirno's icicles
- Yukari Yakumo's gap portal, with ribbons tying off the ends
- Reimu Hakurei's Yin-Yang Orb
- Suwako Moriya's hat
- A yellow star, likely representing Marisa Kirisame
- A magnifying glass
- A red crescent, a green shooting star, and a blue 8-pointed star
- Keychains of the Power and Point items
- One of Sakuya Izayoi's throwing knives
- Reimu's ofuda
- Sanae Kochiya's frog hair pin
- The four playable characters of Unconnected Marketeers (Reimu, Marisa, Sakuya, and Sanae) can also be seen on the bottom of the screen.
- In Wii Shop Bling, the lives are Mii Brawler's stock icon in Smash Bros.
- Drake's text at the very end, "Uh, yeah girl, you too." Is a reference to the Drake song Girls Want Girls, the lyric "Say that you a lesbian, girl me too."
- The artwork shown at the end includes Spamton from Deltarune, the Weapons Merchant from Resident Evil 4, and HH from hhgregg, despite them not appearing in the collab.
- The currency is consistent throughout the entire video. Exactly 20,000 in different currencies is spent.

The asset drive includes "Other proposed parts.txt", a list of games, characters, and songs that were considered for the collab, but for one reason or another didn't make it:
- Resident Evil 4 - Merchant/"Serenity": "The siiva art team mostly has 2D artists, just a couple are comfy with 3D modeling & texturing & stuff. It's a miracle that we got the nine 3D parts that are in the collab done & everyone who worked on em did fantastic. But yeah a lot of the 3D parts proposed didn't get anybody signed on for doing 3D art of a shopkeeper in the style, like this one. He does show up in the finale though. If he had gotten in he'd be around the Hollow Knight/Darkwood area probably."
- Nintendo DSi - Shop: "The song's cool but with Wii Shop already doing the mii thing, there wasn't much of a way to incorporate this one in visually."
- Recettear - Recette/"Open Shop": "Great shop themed game but nobody was confident they could recreate the song."
- Hades - Charon/"Final Expense": "Would've been awesome but a ton of work & not a ton of modding resources were found for it."
- A Hat in Time - Badge Seller/"The Badge Seller": "Cool guy but 3D part, nobody on art"
- Spelunky - Shopkeeper/"Shop Radio 1": "Last minute drop, we decided to limit each person to 2 art/music claims each in the proposal phase and this was one that took the fall. Definitely an iconic dude but there are a lotta other roguelikes in the collab too."
- Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series - Kecleon/"Stop! Thief!": "This one was brought up in the discord during the proposal phase and people mentioned wanting to sign on for it but then it just didn't end up on the proposal spreadsheet? I guess folks just forgot about it lol."
- Paper Mario: Sticker Star - Blue Toad/"Sticker Shop": "Wanted to have a mario part of some kind in the collab but we couldn't find good modding info for any of the Paper Mario games."
- Mario Party - Mushroom Shop Clerk/"Mushroom Shop Theme": "Would've been a great mario rep, more obscure dude but instantly recognizable as mario related and the song would've fit great in the swing hoedown part near the beginning. Wasnt proposed til later though and probably wouldn't have been very feasible to mod, there's not many tools for modding N64 games that aren't Mario 64 or OoT/MM"
- Mr. Beast Burger - Mr. Beast/"MrBeast6000 Song": "Was proposed to be footage of his merch site, tho got nixed cuz mrbeast6000 song is not a shop theme, and ended up getting replaced with Jerma Dollhouse Buy Mode. Rip beast u will be missed"
- Persona 5 - Iwai/"Layer Cake": "Probably without a doubt the awesomest pure shop experience in a game, but would've needed like a total expert to be able to pull off recreating it visually."
- Minecraft - Villager/"Mall": "Super iconic of course but got nixed because there's no village related music. Mall was proposed cuz it's called Mall but it's not a shop theme. (Please refrain from pointing out how Hollow Knight, Darkwood, Omori, and Spyro also dont have actual dedicated shop themes, it hurts the games' feelings)"
- Touhou: Combinations With You: "Touhou fan game where Murasa works in a Family Mart which is a Japanese convenience store chain. Got replaced with Touhou 18 cuz I was worried about us being able to accurately recreate the song & mod it at the time."
- Hotline Miami - Beard/"Daisuke": "Song's awesome, shopkeeper is recognizable, art style is very distinct (if ugly) and game's super easy to mod. Nobody signed up for it tho lol rip"
- Fire Emblem Awakening - Anna/"Merchant Theme": "Nixed last minute and replaced with Persona 2 cuz I was worried about the 3d background requiring us to mod a 3ds game, but looking back depending on what it got paired with probably coulda rendered it separately pretty easily & composited it in with no modding. Sorry my bad on that one. Gotta admit Tony P2 is pretty awesome though"
- Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator - Helpy/"Thank You For Your Patience": "Loved this idea cuz it's definitely not one I would've though of but it fits the format perfectly, flipping through the catalog with Helpy as the shopkeeper dancing on the side. Song fits the shop vibe perfectly too. 3D though & nobody signed on for art."
- Everhood - Flower Shopkeeper/"Feisty Flowers": "Proposed as an alternate possible finale, nobody signed on for it tho"
- Donkey Kong 64 - Funky Kong/"Funky's Armory": "Funky Kong is my spirit animal but deemed not feasible to mod unfortunately"
- IRL thrift store - Macklemore/"Thrift Shop": "Would've been like the Home Depot part but at like a Goodwill or something. Didnt wanna do more than one irl store though to keep it novel, and Home Depot was deemed a more straightforward one. Bunnings Warehouse and Breaking Bad Meth Trailer were also suggested as possible shop styles for the IRL segment"
- HH Gregg - HH/"Christmas in July": "Gotta love HH, would've been awesome for the part with him as the character & Christmas in July as the song but couldn't come up with something for the part in the style of HHGregg. IRL thing was covered by Home Depot, ytpmv covered by Zelda CDi, and like recreating the commercial with 3d modeling probably wouldn't have been feasible."
- Deltarune - Spamton/"Dialtone": "Deltarune's got multiple great shop themes, other possible ones were Hip Shop with either Swatch or Rouxls and that Robot one that everybody forgets about. After a vote though we settled on Seam/Lantern."
- Pizza Tower - Mr. Stick/"Mondays": "Art style is very distinct & Mr Stick is fun but Pizza Tower didn't release & get big til right after parts were locked in so nobody proposed it."
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Malver/"Malo Mart": "Malo mart is fun but yea 3d."
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds - Ravio/"Ravio's Theme": "Ravio is a cool dude but 3ds is like impossible to mod."
- Animal Crossing series - Able Sisters/"Able Sisters": "Looked into all the animal crossing games but couldn't find solid modding info on any."
- Yume Neko DS - cat/"BGM 19": "Audio sign up but no artist. It didn't have a shopkeeper, but it was gonna be represented with the cat from the box-art, and the shopkeeper would've been DS model styled just in front of the shop menu similarly to the Wii Shop part with Beedle."
- Homestuck - Gamzee/"Elevatorstuck": "Suggested to be this part of the comic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7py4iXp3ko. Nobody was confident in recreating the song though."
- Risk of Rain 2 - The Newt/"Parjanya": "We got threatened by Chris Christodoulou with a copystrike in the past so we were unfortunately unable to do this part rip bozo"
- Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble - Bear Shopkeeps/"Brothers Bear"
- Geometry Dash World - Potbor/"Shop Theme"
- Harvest Moon - Nina's mother/"Town"
- Dead Cells - one of the Merchants/"The Merchant"
- The Sims: Bustin' Out - Sim/"Store 2"
- Dead Rising - Isabella & Carlito/"Mall Theme"
- Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games - Mario & Sonic/"Shopping Theme"
- Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver - Nurse Joy/"Pokémon Center"
- Team Fortress 2 - Saxton Hale?/"Upgrade Station"
- The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - Happy Mask Salesman/"Clock Tower"
