The SiIvaGunner All-Star Winter Festival, or simply WinterFes, was an event and a sequel to the SiIvaSummer All-Star Festival from earlier in the year. It was teased in the video "SiIvaGunner: 7 Fact Extravaganza", and revealed in the video "The SiIvaGunner All-Star Winter Festival!".
Similar to the SiIvaSummer All-Star Festival, this is a super-event encompassing a few traditional channel events and special activities amongst regular uploads. A sequel, titled SiIvaGunner All-Star Summer Festival 2021: Legends of the Western Sunset was announced on July 15, 2021.
Rips uploaded[]
Most rips uploaded in this event had the usual Christmas themes; rips of snow or Christmas themed songs and rips containing Christmas music. Notably, this included several rips containing songs from the "ROYALTY FREE CHRISTMAS SONGS" series by YouTuber jacksfilms, and rips containing "Christmas is Creepy" by Fred Figglehorn.
Activities[]
- Continuing the Paper Mario event from November 2020, rips of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door were uploaded daily alongside other rips (at a less frequent rate than the Paper Mario 20th Anniversary earlier that year). This upload schedule concluded on December 11, when the album Paper Jams - A High-Quality Album ~ The Stationery Sequel was announced and subsequently released.
- On December 12, it was announced on Twitter that the next album would be Halation Celebration. On the same date, the Putin Takeover began.
- On December 13, the Putin Takeover ended with the release of the mashup medley "нет головоломки?".
- On December 19, Dr. Pavel's How the Grinch Took Over SiIvaGunner was released through the video "Illumination's The Grinch™ Presents: One Last Leak...".
- On December 20, an event celebrated Cave Story's 16th anniversary. Toward the end of the event, a premiere began that promised a new announcement; it was instead a fakeout for the rip "Gestation (Short Version) - Cave Story".
- On December 24, the banner and profile picture were replaced with new versions in the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt art style to celebrate Panty & Stocking Finale 10th Anniversary. At the event's end, "D City Rock Fusion Collab" was uploaded.
- On December 25, arrangements of "Snow halation" were uploaded to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its release. The channel banner was changed. At the end of the event, the album Halation Celebration ~ 10th Anniversary Tribute to Snow halation was released exclusively through YouTube.
- On December 26, The Christmas Comeback Crisis Watchalong was announced.
- On December 29, an event celebrated Touhou 3: Phantasmagoria of Dim. Dream's 23rd anniversary. At the end of the day, SiIvaGunner Presents: Somewhat Responsive to Requests ~ Touhou Album Now! was released through the video ""There will never be a Touhou Album announcement."".
- On December 30, "The Christmas Comeback Crisis Watchalong" was released. At the end of the livestream, "I Wanna Thank Me - A SiIvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis Side Story" debuted.
- On December 31, several extra Halation Celebration arrangements were released throughout the day. That evening, Mariya Takeuchi's King for Another Day Tournament prize, the fusion collab "11 Minutes of City Pop [Full Collab, VHS Rip]", was released.
- On January 1, An update to Halation Celebration ~ 10th Anniversary Tribute to Snow halation containing all of the arrangements from the previous day was announced through "An Icy Announcement [Halation Celebration Expansion Pack]". The album was finally released on Bandcamp.
- On January 3, The event and season ended with "Credits - The SiIvaGunner All-Star Winter Festival", as well as the release of the album Neon Lights & Holiday Nights ~ The SiIvaGunner All-Star Winter Festival Collection.
