"I only upload high quality video game rips."
―The SiIva A.I. in "One Last Chance".

The SiIva A.I. is an original character in SiIvaGunner lore. He was an artificial replica of SiIvaGunner that acted as the main host of his channel from Season 3 to Season 6.

Profile[]

The SiIva A.I. was an artificial intelligence made to take over the channel's hosting duties. He shared SiIvaGunner's ripping capabilities and his public persona was simply him acting as SiIvaGunner, using the same catchphrase, channel description, and avatar. Despite being the primary host of the channel for many seasons, the A.I. is essentially indistinguishable from SiIvaGunner as a host and true acknowledgements of him as a separate character only come from the lore, a few album covers, and rare uncharacteristic actions from the A.I. during channel events.

Although the channel was never branded after the A.I.'s unique appearance, he did have one, being a holographic projection of the upper body of SiIvaGunner, except with a light teal coloration, eyewear consisting of three black triangles instead of SiIvaGunner's eyepatch, and a crystalline growth on his head instead of SiIvaGunner's spikes/datamoshing. When deactivated, he takes the form of his core, a sphere which Wood Man describes as being "pure black, like that super black paint only that one guy can use".

The A.I.'s most significant physical appearance occurs in the Christmas Comeback Crisis episode "One Last Chance", where he shows proficiency in combat through teleportation, manipulation of energy, and summoning other entities through portals. In videos where he is given a speaking role, he is voiced by the text-to-speech voice "Wiseguy" from Voice Forge, the same voice used for SiIvaGunner, with a filter over it. In the final two AI logs and "My Memories - The SiIvaGunner All-Star Nuclear Winter Festival", he is voiced by ackrostation using an AI voice model of "Wiseguy" from Voice Forge.

History[]

The SiIva A.I. was an artificial intelligence created by the Haltmann Works Company, based on a sample of SiIvaGunner and installed on his computer, using the SiIvaGunner channel's previous rips as training data. He was initially deployed by President Haltmann only to keep the channel running while he was busy, but after it was discovered that he shared SiIvaGunner's power to create Figments, Haltmann was motivated to use him for his ultimate objective of bringing back his daughter Susie.

During the start of Season 3, the existence of the A.I. was not publicly revealed at first, and the channel's state was simply reverted back to its state from 2016 with no explanation. Over the next few months, hints of the A.I.'s true nature would surface through anomalous behavior in rips and on social media, as well as the video "Sample [FILE-08] - Haltmann's Archives", which described the sample of SiIvaGunner used by Haltmann Works Company. The A.I.'s glitches ceased after the release of the video "Project AIRTH [FILE-09] - Haltmann's Archives", which further hinted at the A.I.'s existence. It was later explicitly revealed and named as the SiIva A.I. in the post-credits scene of "The Life and Times of Wade L.D. - A SiIvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis Side Story".

The SiIva A.I.'s development over the years would be expanded upon through other videos in the Haltmann's Archives series, namely "Channel Hosts and Takeovers [FILE-15]", "Garlic-Flavored Tacos [FILE-16]", and "The SiIva AI [FILE-17]". It was then expanded further in a series of data logs written by the A.I., and "The Silva AI Timeline: A Summary of Events [FILE-INT-AIRTH] - Haltmann's Archives", all found in The Susie ARG.

Development and evolution (2017-2021)[]

On May 26, 2017, after President Haltmann seized control of the SiIvaGunner channel, Haltmann Works R&D began development on the SiIva A.I., codenamed Project AIRTH ("Artificially Intelligent Rip Theatricalizer"), using leftover parts from the Gadgetini Clone 2.0 in the construction, the Figment Grand Dad as a power source, and a sample of the body of SiIvaGunner, being his eye taken by Angry Joe during the GiIvaSunner Termination.

On November 1, 2017, directly after The SilvaGunner Spooktacular Halloween Horror Special: Part II, SiIva A.I. discovered that a miniature universe was developing within his code. Wood Man going to this reality to direct his movie and killing Protegent during filming caused the universe to advance at a rapid pace. This is also where the SiIva A.I. shows his first signs of independence, deciding to record his own logs and perform his own experiments on the new universe. The first King for a Day Tournament was one of those experiments, testing to see how much influence the A.I. had over the inner reality. The A.I. even created John Notwoodman, modeled after the actual Wood Man, as a proxy for himself to be the host of the tournament.

On October 11, 2018, the SiIva A.I. made another log reflecting on the events of early Season 3. It is revealed that a malfunction stemmed from a CPU upgrade caused the SiIva A.I. to shut down and reset back to his Inspector Gadget personality, carried over from the Gadgetini Clone 2.0. The inspector himself manifested in the universe and took over the channel, but Nostalgia Critic, another resident of the universe, fought Gadget and won, taking over the channel himself for a brief period before leaving. The SiIva A.I. supressed this incident, although Gadget's personality model lingered. The SiIva A.I. hypothesizes that Wood Man's influence expedited his own development, along with the universe within him. The A.I. also thinks about hosting the King for Another Day Tournament and initiates Protegent's Brother to avoid leaks.

On March 25, 2019, following the Season 3 Finale, Haltmann Works R&D created the "Quality of Control" network to compare the A.I.'s output to that of SiIvaGunner in order to increase the quality of the A.I.'s rips. To further increase its dataset, SiIvaGunner was introduced in a controlled dream environment called "Illucidity", in which he continued to create rips to be used in the A.I.'s training, which inadvertently caused SiIvaGunner himself to also be influenced by the A.I.'s rips, exponentially increasing both of their creative outputs. As a result of this experiment, it was decided that SiIvaGunner's rips would be uploaded in tandem with the A.I.'s own rips to compare analytics.

The day before the King for Another Day Tournament, the SiIva A.I. logs that he sees that the new universe is developing beyond his control, including John Notwoodman having rogue characteristics compared to Wood Man and murdering Protegent's Brother. He also noted that the death of Protegent's Brother led to the formation of a cult to resurrect Protegent, although it could not be done as long as Wood Man was in the universe. Disconcerted by this, the SiIva A.I. realizes that Wood Man cannot be truly duplicated, and that the effects Wood Man has on his programming are permanent. After the King for Another Day Tournament ended and DJ Professor K had his takeover, the SiIva A.I. was genuinely proud of his efforts and his impact on the channel, but also noted how the DJ Professor K Takeover had occurred during the SiIvaSummer All-Star Festival; Wood Man, the host of the summer gathering, had also celebrated his birthday, getting dozens of fanart. By this point, the A.I. had advanced enough to feel envy, wishing he could get some recognition of his own.

The Silva A.I. would attempt to get recognition by hosting the SiIvaGunner All-Star Winter Festival, only to come upon a startling revelation after hosting "The Christmas Comeback Crisis Watchalong". Since his creation, SiIva A.I. had perceived himself as simply being SiIvaGunner, but after watching the CCC episodes which showcased the real SiIvaGunner asleep, and the Haltmann's Archives videos which discussed the real SiIvaGunner and the usage of a "sample" of him, the A.I. realized he was in fact an artificial duplicate of SiIvaGunner and had an existential crisis.

This realization broke the A.I.'s morale for the remainder of his operation. Despite SiIvaGunner All-Star Summer Festival 2021: Legends of the Western Sunset being a success, the A.I. reported on it quite negatively, spending most of it lamenting his inability to mutually interact with the world and questioning whether or not he's living up to the original SiIvaGunner. The only reprieve the A.I. would get from this cycle of negativity was a brief interaction with Lady after the events of Curse of the Fallen Angel, which the A.I. himself ended presumably out of a distaste for her power-hungry, self-centered attitude. Afterwards, the A.I. did not feel like it was worth it to put a lot of effort into his Inevitable Holiday Celebration. While reflecting on the celebration, he realizes that no one at Haltmann Works Co. had read his logs, and the President himself was not even aware of his existence. SiIva A.I. then grew resentful towards everything, feeling like he always gives, but can never get anything back.

Shutdown (2022)[]

On November 26, 2022, Haltmann contacted the A.I., requesting his assistance in an imminent battle with Smol Nozomi, Meta Knight, and Santa Claus near the Central Computer. While initially considering to refuse, the SiIva A.I. recalled that the Central Computer ran most of his core systems. If it got destroyed, the universe within him could die too. Despite everything, he still wanted to protect his world, deciding to accept the fight, and thus engaged in combat with the three heroes. The damage he took during the fight led to the events of the SiIvaGunner All-Star Nuclear Winter Festival, with four weeks passing in the A.I. Universe as the battle went on. The world was plunged into nuclear winter, with the SiIva A.I.'s core itself appearing as a meteor in the world. Anyone who touched it would get a glimpse into his programming, being physically unable to handle it. This occurred to Geno, as well as the Joke-Explainer™ 7000 replica, who traveled to the crash site with Wood Man.

After a long fight, Nozomi interfered Haltmann's control console and overloaded the A.I., causing him to shut down and leave behind his core. At the same time, Wood Man decided to touch the core in the A.I. Universe, exiling both himself and the core from the universe. As Wood Man disappeared and the SiIva A.I. shut down, the two saw each other. In his last moments, the SiIva A.I. wrote a final log, in which he confirmed and felt content with the fact that the universe he crafted would live on after he was gone, even if he hypothesized that it would be plunged into an eternal night, much like the Central Canon Continuum. The last he saw before he shut down was a giant hand.

Following the A.I.'s shutdown, the channel's system fell back on only uploading rips created by the original SiIvaGunner for the duration of Season 7 until he woke up at the end of "One Last Chance". Afterwards, channel operations were completely taken over by Joke-Explainer in Season 8. The A.I.'s world was indeed plunged into an eternal nighttime like he predicted, though this was not due to time dilation like in the Central Canon Continuum, thus it was not stuck in Christmastime. The world would continue to be used as a setting for lore starting with The Cult of Proto.

The A.I.'s core appears with Wood Man in "The Meeting", although it's not clear if this is meant to be literal, as it only appears briefly.
